A lot of what Isaiah Hole was claiming or suggesting struck me as too good to be true. It just seemed a little too convenient that Michigan would have something that would turn all of this around. I think he figured the sign-trading evidence (if there even is any) before the 2022 Big Ten Championship game would get more traction than it did. No one cares about that now and no one will care about that in the future.

As for the bad PR, I don't think that we can assume that OSU is behind it, at least not without more information. Hole says that Michigan believes OSU is behind it, but without more, it's just belief. Regardless, Stalions made that bad PR possible when he did what he did. Michigan gave its rivals an in, and now Michigan is going to pay the price for it.

If there are more coaches that are in the same boat as Partridge (Which we can only speculate on at this point) and they didn't do it all at once then Michigan is acting irrationally. Firing one now, and another later just extends the media coverage. Who knows at this point, but that would not be an ideal way to handle it.

Many would not want Stalions.  But many others would want a guy like him.  He is going to get results.

Will he cut some corners?  Maybe.  And for many the results are what counts.

And I think you are overestimating federal, state, and local law enforcement on making sure businesses trace square corners.  They do not.  The VAST majority of small and medium-sized businesses are in violation of many laws (especially tax laws).  There are not close to sufficient enforcement/prosecutorial resources to catch even 5% of it.

Corner cutter types like Stalions are WAY less likely to be caught in the private sector/business world, than within the world of CFB (and even in the CFB world it is not very likely).

I am not saying that is a good thing.  But I am saying that is the truth.

Patridge and Jay are implicated in the funding with the spreadsheet. They have shielded Jim from all this. The B1G dropped the hammer on all this yesterday and the BOR backed right off.

As I said yesterday Jim is done at Michigan and it’s not his choice. He lost control of the program.

My quote from years ago is relevant because this is is Jim Harbaugh. We all have to deal with it. He is responsible for this program and his hiring practices have been atrocious.

There will be more than this. We’ve been taken for a ride
