Probably not worth creating an extra thread, but is Michigan in for anyone in the transfer portal? Amorian Walker is supposedly on his way back, but other than that anyone? Also, if it closes tomorrow what happens to all the guys who don't have a team?
For instance, I see nine 4-star cornerbacks in the portal currently without a team. I would think Michigan would be in on one of these guys given the Waller transfer - my assumption is Walker is coming back to play WR - but haven't heard a thing.
Or at WR, there are ten 4-star players in the portal without a team. If Walker were coming back at CB, gotta think Michigan would be eyeballing one of them? Are we going to see a flurry of commitments tomorrow?

Considering that Dillon Gabriel was an All Big-12 first-team QB, I think I would assume that Moore improved greatly under a better coaching staff and beat out a high floor type guy, the type of guy who might be perfect for Michigan next year.
They need to add a WR from one of the stacked WR rooms that are out there. The guy who thinks he's going to get the 2nd or 3rd spot at a high-powered passing attack and doesn't get it and could come here and be the 1st option outside. I think they will be okay regardless with Loveland, Morgan and Morris, but would be nice to get another big target.
I think it would be nice to add a QB as well. If Moore were to beat out Gabriel at Oregon, that's the highest profile guy I think Michigan could bring in.
The only possible way to keep Howard would be if Manuel knew that Michigan's admissions were not going to stand in the way of any transfers and that NIL was promising big money to bring in an entirely new roster.

If I recall, Beilein went after plenty of highly ranked players, but almost all of them went elsewhere and listed Michigan as the runner-up.

He's a 4-star to three of the services (top 200 to ESPN, Rivals and On3) and on the composites, he's ranked 195 at On3 and 149 at 247.
