Boy howdy!  It took him a minute to grasp the strength and speed at this level.  Between that and Elston imparting the importance of keeping the edge solid, he could let loose again like he had in G5.  He seems a really quick learner, and has a great chance at getting a decent to good draft slot if continues that improvement through '24.  And I think he will!

Some really good news here!  I woke up to cats pissing me the hell off this morning, so opening up the laptop to see this (along with a cup of coffee) puts the day right back on a path of happiness!

Good move Josaiah - you'll dominate next year and improve your draft grades considerably when you're bookending Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant nearly every play!

Stewart definitely exceeded my expectations. I thought he'd be a situational pass rusher in the mold of Uche, but he was more than solid as a run defender. Great to see him return.

The combo of Stewart and Moore should wreak more havoc than Stewart and McGregor.  Love McGregor batting down the ball skills, but Moore is a better rusher.

D-line of Graham, KG, Moore and Stewart is a good base for the defense. Benny as well. Need some of the young guys to step up for depth.

We got spoiled this season running NFL guys pretty much 2 deep across the line but next years line looks nasty too

Moore & Stewart at Edge

Graham, Grant, and Benny at DT.

Gonna be one of the best in the country again

This is great. I’ll be honest I was a little underwhelmed early in the season but dude was a straight beast down the stretch.  This dline could remain the best in the country which is amazing.  If Minter and safety’s stay I see know reason this defense can’t repeat its dominance. Key players will be missed and it will be a talll task for the youngsters to repeat last years depth but Benny should slide into Jenkins snaps and Mikey is obviously a unicorn but keep in mind that position is typically a safety/ corner hybrid spot and he was talented enough to make it a corner/ safety hybrid with emphasis on coverage ability.  I know people like McBurrows but I’m kind of expecting Sabb or another safety to fill that spot keeping all 3 on the field.

Very good news.   This will be a fantastic off season - and, I look forward to seeing who will emerge as the bearers / leaders to maintain the culture.

Fantastic. He got better as the season wore on. Our Will Anderson for this coming year? That bull rush on the final Rose Bowl play giving up a 100+ lbs. was epic.

Wasn't it Mike that recommended him to the staff from the portal?
