Isaac looked decent in his few touches and was great to see Kareem Walker get a run and a good one at that.  QB play is killing us and if something doesn't change, it's going to be hard to keep relying on our stud defense.  Higdon for the win today though!

They suck. All of them. Offensive line can’t sustain drives. Receivers don’t get open. O’Korn can’t read defenses. Our RB’s are okay when they aren’t fumbling away games.

1) Karan Higdon rules

2) I wasn't so keen on blaming O'Korn last week, but it was insanely frustrating watching him trying to go big when he had easy checkdowns. Despite some crappy drops, he isn't going to take this team anywhere special.

I'm curious as to what we've really got with Peters. There's just that concern of him getting clobbered over and over. Pass protection is not the greatest on this team.

3) Yay no turnovers!

IU on late drives to force OT and outpasses our 5th yr SR? I'm not sure about final stats but JOK must have logged only 75 yards passing. Either the offense is too complex or the coaching is misfiring at this stage. Thank goodness Higdon carried the O today because there was very little life in that O.

Apparently before the season, Peters told Harbaugh he was ok with Speight/Okorn running the team this year and would focus on next year. Needless to say, it’s unlikely harbaugh was pleased with that.

Outside of Higdon, there was no offense. Evans should see himself to the bench. Ty Isaac didn’t seem to get the ball much, when he did it wasn’t great. As much as we can agree the QB play is poor, why not share the blame amongst the entire passing game, meaning receiving. JOK missed some guys, but most of the time, not a soul was open. These WR must not be good. Looking at you Crawford...

It was nice to see more Man Blocking today.  I recall that the experts here felt that the Bushell-Beatty addition to the line warranted the change in scheme, but it was good to see us rely upon it more.

The OL is average and QB play abysmal.  Trying to get by on running and getting lucky that a pass goes to the right guy.  I don't know how JH is keeping this together but we could easily have a worse record, but not a better record, by now

OL seemed improved.  Not good enough to grind out 10 yards when the other team knows what's coming and is a pretty good defense, but up to mediocre.  Not many obvious busts when we tried to throw, RBs had some room to work with.  Poggi seemed really good.

WRs get an incomplete.  Perry had one ball he had to catch early in the game, otherwise they were often just missed.  DPJ seemed like he was open a lot, but could not be hit.

Higdon is obviously the breakout player.  Not a lot to be said there.  Isaac and Walker also looked good on their runs.  We need to get Evans the ball in space.

QB was an utter disaster and limited what should have been a breakout offensive performance.  If O'Korn hits the early DPJ deep ball and makes the right read when he forced it to Crawford deep, that's 14 points and IU is forced to back off which would help our performance in the second half.

Let's accept this and move on. No it's not okay. But being angry and mean and sad about it doesn't help. Wins a win this season. Great game higdon and defense. Good enough from the OL.

Is JBB the answer to the right side finally?  It didn't look like a turnisle out there today which opened up the rushing game.  One step at a time.

The defense can carry this team against the likes of Indiana but not against Penn State. And especially not against OSU.

Hopefully Harbaugh can pull a rabbit out of his ass by next Saturday night, or that game is going to get really ugly.

I’ve defended him a lot, and had to rethink it a lot. I realize he’s far from perfect, but he’s hit his 2nd and 3rd read. O’Korn was suppose to be a better runner, but we haven’t seen a ton of that. He panics a lot. I do hope he settles down and plays really well, but I would say that is unlikely at this point.

As bad as the offense was in 2013-14, we at least had a couple playmakers who could bust a long one.  Our passing offense has zero big play capability.  None.  We gain more yards per play with lesser risk by handing off.  The only reason to throw once in a while is to keep the defense at least slightly honest for stacking everyone in the box.  Even that probably won't stop it.

This week shows no team or win should be taken for granted. Ask Oklahoma, Clemson & Washington St.

Given the weaknesses shown last week, this was a step in the right direction. Our RB & TE & Lt/G are our strengths. Today we played to them. When we tried anything else, we shot ourselves in the foot (tripping, over throw, no throw, delay of game, penalty)

What happened to the jet sweeps and reverses?  I hope we use one or two next week, then, in a key 3rd and 5, fake it and have O'Korn keep it on a bootleg going the other way.

Locks onto one WR and never looks off him no matter how covered he is. There were open guys all day and OKorn had no clue. I don't know how you alleviate this issue because Peters is likely worse
