Zero confidence. Michigan Basketball is cheap. We’ve never opened up our pocketbooks. Billy Donovan is my number 1 choice and I think He’d do well at Michigan.
I love Beilein as much as the next guy. But leaving in the middle of the night after a 12 year run is not the stuff that makes for the renaming of a basketball court. I am very grateful but I wish He’d finished his career in Ann Arbor.
Too early for this. He still has a llot left in the tank. I'm hoping there are several more Final Four runs left in him and possibly a National Championship. I can dream can't I? I find it curious that many are now calling JB a genius when only a year ago some on this board were calling for his head. For my part, I have been staunch Beilein supporter and will remain so until he decides to hang it up. As far as I'm concerned he can stay at Michigan for as long as he wants, no questions asked.
They are good as evidenced by yesterday's result. They also beat us earlier in teh season. The cubbard s not bare. Tehy have Kates-Diop and Ja'sean Tate both of whom are very good. Beilein recruited both heavily.
A debacle. One of the two worst Michigan offenses I've seen during my 30+ years of following the program. The other being the Nick Sheridan / Stephen Threat led squad. The numbers support the fact that this was a historic failure of a campaign.

I've said all along that the minute UM lost its second Division game would be the time to usher in any one of the freshmen QB's on the roster. For all intents and pruposes our season is over and We need to weigh whether to play for an 8 or 9 win season (at best) or preparing a productive QB for the future. Brandon Peters has zero game experience right now and we cannot count on Wilton Speight to take any snaps at this point. Starting the 2018 campaign with a redshirt Freshman or Sophmore QB who has never taken any snaps is a recipe for disaster. Better to take our lumps now.
Its over for this year. Penn State is gonna bang Jimmy doggy style. After next weekend’s humiliation there will be nothing left to play for, at which points we may as well throw Peters to the wolves to see if we can get a better reault. I do blame JH for not being able to recruit and develop a QB three years into his tenure. Speight and Okorn are upperclassmen. You have to do better than 58 passing yards. Their output reveals a level of incompetence and deficiency not seen at Michigan since Nick Sheridan.
Now we know why we have 2 QB’s signed for the 2018 class. And both are projects as opposed to proven commodities.
McCaffrey is the guy.
I am a proponent of throwing Peters into the fire as soon as it becomes evident that this team will not play in the B10 conference championsip game. We are now one conference loss away from being in that position.
Harbaugh hand-picked Peters. So I have I have to think that If BP gets enough reps in 2017, the QB position will be straightened out and stable by next season. Having Speight on the roster is also nice insurance to have but He is obviously not a long term answer given He'd be a 5th year senior. I'd love for us to have 3 good years of Peters as the starter but that is wishiful thinking and there are too many variables (O-Line, PT in 2017, coaching, HS evaluation or mis-evaluation as the case may be) that come into play.
As for the O-Line, I am not at all confident that we can stratighten out the trenches in the immediate future. I'd be great if we could bring in a graduate transfer next year to help us transition. The OT's we've recruited in this 2018 class will need a year in the weight program at a minimum. Ekoyor is the only OL recruit who I think has a chance at playing but we are set at Guard. It's the tackles that is the problem and we are losing Mason Cole to graduation.
Do we have room for both Castelon and Nunez (or Locke)? Seems like an awfully big class from a pure numbers standpoint. That would be 6 guys in one class unless Currie reclasifies to 2019.

Its called Coach K Court because Coach K stayed. John Beilein didn't. Nothing personal. I love the guy. But 12 years does not make for the high honor.

It's amazing to me that Michigan could be so unsettled at OL three years into the Harbaugh regime.
Based on his work this year with Speight, Okorn, and Peters - I will not be sad to see him go. I hope it hapens...

We are going to get our ass handed to us. You can't win a game without scoring points. Sadly Okorn will be the difference.
It's over!
It's over
I never thought I'd say this but..Gasp, if only we had John Navarre....
I never ever though I'd say this but...I think I miss John Navarre :(
It's simple. Our WR are terrible right now and a work in progress. Fwiw, Crawford needs to take off that #1 jersey.
TANG! Gimme some
Its over
I'm wondering if we
Maybe.
I'm wondering if we miss Jed Fisch much more than originally thought.

Oh trust me they've deleted fair share of comments. But last night was a debacle and neagtive sentiments are bound to get through...
Pitino sleeps with the fishes.
Adios Pimpin' Rick.
I agree. We are one loss away from welcoming in the Brandon Peters or Dylan McCafrey era...

Raw deal my ass. He quit on the teammates. Still I think he's talented and I wish him success.
Adios
Good luck Kyle. And good luck Colts...

I've said this before and I'll say it again.
We have the best coach in America. He runs a clean program and He's a winner.
And for those who complain about recruiting, we have the #5 class in the country for 2018.
Oh, the canvas can do miracles, just you wait and see.
