For years, there was a thought that California would just "fall into the Pacific" when a huge earthquake struck.
And, I must admit - I never thought of "balance" - and the impact such a natural event would have on our country.
In terms of "balance" - what would happen if both California and New Jersey were struck by massive quakes and they each were absorbed by their adjacent oceans - California into the Pacific and New Jersey into the Atlantic?
I would miss the boardwalk pizza but it would be nice having an ocean front home where I grew up outside of philly.
