Friday Night BBQ, Beverage and Rooting for Missouri Thread

Submitted by XM - Mt 1822 on December 29th, 2023 at 6:22 PM

Mates,
Friday night of a holiday weekend.   It's also the time when bowl games start to count, and one of the first is our friends down at TCDS (Those Cheaters Down South) take on the Missouri Tigers at 8:00 on ESPN.  Please, Tigers, wear that block-M with ferocity and whip those hairless nuts.

Also, what is on your BBQ, in your cup, and on tap for the weekend?  What are the New Year's Eve plans?

Happy New Year everybody,

XM

Missouri coach in all his infinite wisdom hasn’t figured out that you can run on Ohio St. They are using Cook’s legs and the tubing back but then he goes right back to drop back passing, which obviously isn’t working.

The Mizzou HC thought he was funny when he quipped about Connor Stalions, but the only thing funny here is his squad being down 3 points to an OSU team lead by their 3rd string QB...

The previous 3rd down, the Mizzou QB had a wide open crosser that he just ignored. And this last series he missed a wide open WR in single coverage. Gotta bring the Misery here Tigers!!!

I feel bad for the people (even the Ohio fans) that paid tons of their hard-earned money to travel to Arlington and watch this putrid game in-person.

Too bad Ohio scored.

Otherwise this would be the M0O0 game!

Bowl season is just too far removed from the regular season. Every game has been a turnover fest (Clemson UK), penalties and just poor football as displayed right now by OSU/Mizzou

hope Harbaugh has the boys ready for Bama (don’t feel great about it tbh)

I know this is just a glorified exhibition game, but putting on this kind of display certainly can't be a good look for prospective Ohio recruits at home.

Which is fine by me.

In the new Super B1G conference Michigan's rivals can be Washington and USC.

It's getting pretty bad when anOSU receives the ball with a little under 2 min and scoring points isn't really part of the equation, but it's just trying like hell to avoid a safety before halftime.

At least OSU’s QB is getting his cardio in.  Though, he needs to pick up the pace.  Maybe he should subscribe to Peloton or something.

just trying to help.
