I'm sorry but not much of this surprises me.

Now, what does surprise me is that level of entitlement after just a relative few seasons of what they view as success.

Guy needs to get some perspective on what is important in life and why he chose to go school there. If it was just football then maybe he should rethink his priorities. And while he’s at it, he should probably consider moving out of his van and back to mom and dad‘s basement as countless MSU alums have done before. /s

Just kidding on that last bit. I don’t need the bad karma.

That was very funny.  As a future employer though if he weren't a Michigan State grad, I would hire him.  I really like his passion and he seems like he would honestly be a great team player.

So this is why my packages were late?! Put the packages on the porches before you cry your eyes out for clicks. That is not work. Football did not begin in 2008.

I think my favorite part was "... pretty much talk to a woman who he should never have of ..."

I'm not a cook, so I have to ask: What type of dressing goes best with that kind of word salad?

It's OK, Parker. You'll feel better after a Juice Box and a nap.

Ah, another sparty that watched their first football game in 2008. I hate to break it to ya buddy, but 2008-2014 is not the norm. Believe it or not, Michigan and Penn State were both very good before that time, and are now back to doing what they did for a century prior to that.

I have to be honest the kid is kind of funny (I know wasn’t trying to be funny). He should stop going to the msu games and just start a “reaction to stuff” YouTube channel lol.

In Sparty's defense, I thought they (the players) tried hard, but we're scuttled with bad, bad coaching.  Too many offensive plays call for which they lack the skills to execute, terrible defensive preparation for the schemes they ran, and their one bright spot, 50% of a comeback in the 3rd and early 4th quarters, sputtered miserably.  Gonna be a long season, but at least they have Mork on the sideling with facial expressions that the kids will surely be able to relate to.

I didn't enjoy that, it's sad.  They're fellow Michiganders who got Bs in high school instead of As, that doesn't make them bad people. (Or even dumber really, high school grades and SATs are pretty meaningless once you leave high school, obviously.)

They root for the school that accepted them.

Sure, do I want Michigan to beat them every season? Of course.

But they don't deserve a sexual predator as a head coach, they don't deserve a football team that can't compete at all in the conference.  They don't deserve a board of trustees that's more interested in sweeping things under the rug so they can leave the meeting early than actually making the school a better place to be.  All of our taxes are paying for the tucker horseshit show.

(sidenote: fuck the MSU board for championing this "horseshit football coach" con man as a trailblazer for Black football coaches, when Mike Locksley at Maryland is consistently beating them for less than half the pay and zero off field baggage through simple hard work and competence.)

It's sad, and it's bad for the whole state of Michigan.

There's a whole generation of young college football who's formative years were the Mork winning seasons, and the naturally gravitated to Staee. They didn't know history. They couldn't realize this was the proverbial flash in the pan. They're now getting punched in the mouth. The next few years will determine whether they were bandwagon fans or legit.

It's totally fair for them to expect a team that can compete (not even necessarily win) with the likes of Maryland and not have a disaster of a board sweeping sexual crimes under the rug.  I love it when MSU goes like 4-8 3-9, or even worse, but this version of MSU is a disgrace.  (Remember, our taxes go to MSU as well.  It's our tax dollars getting burned up paying Tucker too.)

What direction did he think they were in WITH the unnamed coach?

He couldn't get kids to visit the school. He was down to peeling players away from Toledo. Their trajectory was a decade of this current product.

The sick truth is that the unnamed coach being a weirdo likely saved that program from a decade of mediocrity. In the modern game you can rebuild from nothing in about two years with the right guy. Mel being a moron saved them. He should take this year as it goes knowing it would be hard to be worse with the next hire.

As much as we rag on other teams, the vast majority of those msu players are working their asses off for their scholarship and hopefully a shot at playing for a career.  They can't help it that they are in this horseshit situation.
