Let them give all the effort they want. Last season they put 2 tds against OSU, and 3 against Penn State. Remind me how many they gave up to Michigan? "Best effort" from one commenter, "separate season effort" from another? I'm sensing a pattern starting in some of the comments here.

I had it at 3.5 last night, thinking that someone has to score for the game to end. But a safety or a 2 point conversion in one of the OTs could do the trick. Has a game ever ended 2-0?

I told one of my old high school buddies that I hoped he enjoyed the golden era. That was 2016, what a decline. I figured they’d take 4-5 years to rebuild and be competitive post Dantonio but this is a whole new level of suck!

In hindsight, the worst thing to happen to MSU was to luck into pulling KW III off the portal. Without him in the backfield in ‘21 Sparty doesn’t beat Michigan, probably finishes 8-4 or 7-5 and they don’t wind up shackled to Mel Tucker with this ridiculous contract. I hope one win over Michigan and a 10-2 season was worth it Spartan faithful.
