Could we still find a point guard in the transfer portal?
crazy thought, but if classes start in January, could we find a point guard in the transfer portal, and get them to campus in time to play this season? We have one point guard type in Dug, then Kobe, is Jett the third PG?

Do we still have a free scholarship? I doubt the stars would align that someone plug-and-playable would be readily available and an upgrade over the players that have been with the team for X months. Still a nice thought OP. Maybe? Who knows what the NCAA really is anymore

I'm sure there are dudes at the CCRB that think they could start. Would be fun to get a camera, head over, and start "interviewing" for walk-on's -- in a Pranksters kind of way.

Why limit the search there, go find a high school senior and do what Ohio State did with Meechie Johnson. Or Rutgers football with Gavin Wimsatt.

Some really solid 5'7 chubby point guards in the CCRB. Should be really easy as they are already enrolled.

Not for long. CCRB closed for good after tomorrow and slated for demolition once winter break starts. I had some good times getting my butt kicked in basketball and volleyball at CCRB back in the day...

I wrestled in high school and my roommate (from the same high school) played basketball. He used to tell everyone that when he saw me dribbling in for a lay-up, he would run out to half court for the rebound.

I used to be one of them, though I'm 5 7 and 3/4, in actual fact. Would have loved. Though I was still smoking two packs a day when I tried out for Huron's team, after transferring from Blair Academy in NJ, where I was the leading scorer on the Little B basketball team.
Side Note: We once lost to the NY Boys' Club by over 60 points.

We will have to wait after 1/9 and see if how much interest Ronnie still has in playing BB. But I seriously doubt it will happen, and even so, he may not contribute much if at all.
