My wife and I have our civil wedding anniversary on this day. We will go to dinner at a decent restaurant... she did offer the option of "Valentine nachos" where we stay at home and eat nachos (it's a thing we've done in the past), but it's been a difficult few months so not having to cook for ourselves will be nice....
I hit David Bowens in the face with a snowball during the South v. West quad snowball fight my freshman year... I thought I was going to die an instant death at his hands...
Instead, he ran away giggling. I was very relieved...
Not a real heartbreaker... but it was the Big Ten basketball tourney in Indy when Evan Turner sunk a just over half court shot for the win over Michigan in the first round. I recall seeing the shot go up and basically started walking for the exit because it looked good from the moment it left his hand...
The upside from that loss was a wild drinking afternoon in the beer tent outside Lucas Oil! So good that the next day when I showed up hungover... all the bartenders were calling me by my first name... I made quite the impression!
Sources tell me that the new "walk through weapons detection system" only detects if you're Connor Stalions... because we all know he's a major weapon and other teams fear for the safety of their players...

Midukman ... what high school did you attend? My high school also played against Fremont Ross and Woodson. I didn't play football but went to the games. He is the same class as me and his senior year he scored I believe 6 of their 7 TDs... basically ran sweep left and right to Woodson at RB... I agree, he was just that many levels above in talent.
I'm a bit annoyed at the games on Peacock. I'm overseas and I tried to load the app on my Amazon Fire but it won't start... even though it says available in Switzerland.

They should run replays like they do in rugby where you can hear the conversation that the ref on the field is having with the booth. Not sure if this is just on TV though. So when a call is discussed and the outcome decided, there is evidence of what was discussed in order to review official performance and for the fans to understand the decision made.
This would have been interesting to hear what they were discussing on Wilson's non-TD...
Have you looked into a Synology NAS? I use that and they have cloud software that you can install to backup files. I have messed around with it a bit to backup my photos on my phone while not using a subscription service.
I had planned to go as a friend of mine lives 5 minutes from O2, but the late start of the game didn't allow me to get a flight from London City back to Switzerland.
I live overseas... been up since 5:30am with my kids. Since the game is at night, I will record it and watch it tomorrow morning over a pancake breakfast... we also gain an hour tonight here, but that means tomorrow I will be up at 4:30am instead of 5:30.

I am tempted to take my 3 year old son to that game because he likes watching Michigan basketball with me on the TV (Hunter is his favorite player) and I am wondering if it will be easy to get tickets just before going? Also, what section would be good to sit in with a small child? And finally, is the Graduate a good place to stay for a family of 4? My wife and 7 month old daughter will also be there but not attending the game.

Thanks for mentioning Oriental Express! I was trying to remember the name. I lived at 723 Packard back in 1997-1999. I used to eat the General Tso's there at lunch time because they had cheaper prices. Since I ate there so much, the lady at the register would always yell back into the kitchen when I came in to pay... normally that meant I was getting the dinner size at lunch prices! Loved that place!
Bell's Pizza was also a favorite of mine across the street... $5 large cheese pizza and large drink take away special.
My wife will be 8 months pregnant on January 10th... I love overseas and have floated the idea of flying direct to Indy on Sunday... going to the game Monday and then flying back the next morning... flight + ticket is easily over $5K...
There is a Samsung Ultra Short Throw projector that costs $5K... maybe my wife would compromise??

I grew up in Ohio, but my grandfather was a Michigan fan. I don't recall when I actually became a fan, but my grandfather was an influence. I later wanted to attend Michigan as I had the times to possibly walk on to the swim team. This was in the time of Tom Dolan.
First game was Colorado and Kordell Stewart... I will just stop right there.
Most memorable game is tough... I would say the Rose Bowl against Washington State as I was a junior and my trip out there made me want to move to California after I graduated.
There was never really another contender. I applied only to Michigan and was fortunate to get accepted.

I have Express VPN that I've used for the FoxSports app. However, with it both off and on, Peacock would not load.
