Coach Jim Jacked to Start His New Year

Short clip in which Coach Jim can barely contain the enthusiasm with which he is attacking his first day of volunteer offseason training with the Chargers' players.

He is absolutely brimming with excitement.  I think he is ecstatic that he doesn't have to deal with all of the NCAA/Big Ten/and other sources of bull manure in the college game.  He is competing on a level playing field and that is his passion as he so transparently exudes.

Lions players say the same about MCDC, what you see is what you get.

Sounds like he has a lot to do to turn around the culture of the team. The Chargers ranked 30th in the latest NFLPA Players Poll in which players graded their own teams in various categories.

I am geeked for the spring game featuring the winged helmets. JH chose to leave, and I chose to move on without him. I wish him well but won’t really follow him unless he is opposing the Lions and I will root against.

Level playing field? He was coaching at michigan, not eastern michigan lol. He had more resources than 99% of other programs. He benefitted from the unleveled playing field.

There is something fundamentally wrong with "LA Chargers".  The extortionist, sellout Spanos family ownership ruined my lifelong fandom.  I watched the drama up close for a decade living in SD, and they did the region wrong first demanding an ocean-front stadium and eventually deciding to become a tenant of the Rams.  Because of JH I will follow the team, but "interest" is the limit of my engagement.  IMHO, anything related to JH and Chargers is now OT.
