CC: Sherrone Moore, no interviews needed

Submitted by LSA84 on January 24th, 2024 at 11:11 PM

He's tutored under our best, the players support him, he proved it in 4 games already.

The man found out during the flight to State College that he would need to be HC... AND OC... AND OL coach.

He won.  He didn't just win, he called a brilliant game, and his OL paved Penn State when JJ was hurt.

If you need a reminder of who he is, go watch the YouTube video of his post-game interview in State College.  You know the one.

Then he beat OSU.

He's 1-0 against Third Base.  1-0 against Frames.

I don't need to know any more.  Nor do you.  Nor does Warde or Santa.  Sherrone may or may not succeed, but he's earned the right to try.  Any hire other than Minter would be hugely disruptive, and the only candidate who might be better just replaced Nick Saban.

And in case you've forgotten, the last Wolverine coordinator promoted to HC won a national championship and is a Michigan legend.

The only open question is whether U of M could find some way to convince Moore and Minter to be Co-HC so we can keep them both, but I doubt U of M would be that creative.

ok. So I love potato and leek soup. I recently found this recipe and I have since modified it. let me tell you my life story and how it led to the recipe I am sharing today.

it all started as a 7 year old visiting my grandmother on a cold winter day. The snow was cold, wet. Perfect for making snowmen. The kinda snow that chills you to the core through your Thinsulate gloves and Eddie Bauer boots ……….

MOORE IS RIGHT NOW ALREADY THE HEAD COACH AT MICHIGAN. HE IS PREPARING A LIST OF POTENTIAL HIRES AND AND WANTS EVERYONE BACK WITH RAISES.     APOLOGIZE TO ALL WHO WANTED SOMEONE ELSE BUT MOORE IS THE GUY TO LEAD US NOW.   SHOW HIM SUPPORT!

I see I got neg for stating a fact.

It is already done.   Moore is 2024 HC at Michigan.   All the people who want a search want either a big splash name or don't like the fact that Moore will be a and I hate to say it Black coach at Michigan which to me is sad   Bama took the guy who would have been maybe the only guy besides Moore Michigan would have hired.

I came on yesterday saying this because I have had someone who has knowledge to what is going on there and it is what was told to me.

Those wanting some old guy from Kansas or KSU are ridiculous.

Well, there wasn't a negative peep about him taking over as HC because that wasn't really on the table, and everyone was enjoying the historic season. There was plenty of warranted criticism of his playcalling (lack of ingenuity, not using play action enough, etc) and I don't recall any big time recruits he brought in.

Moreover, I don't see anyone asking for anyone else, just some due diligence in the search. This post is just wholly inaccurate. And then, there is the insulting chicken little + weirdos comment - if someone has a different opinion, I guess I should insult them?

Looks like we found Moore's burner account!

I was actually whispering when typing and didn't like the smaller letters as it is easier to read the big ones.   Also I have said it multiple times about who it is and no one seems to listen and people think there comments can change the Michigans mind. Moore is the coach it just hasn't been named yet. The fact people think they can post stuff about who they think will be a good coach is funny and wasting there time.  People think they can come up with some guy out there and make it become real is not reality.

I am just trying to give people some inside info I had last night so all the different threads could stop.   Instead of coaches we need to look for or talk about position coaches he could hire.

Oh man, the RichRod flame wars of 2010-11 were epic. For just one example, someone called up my posting history and negged me 20+ times for directly quoting a Mississippi State linebacker's assessment of Rod's offense. And that was a flesh wound compared to what most others got. Emotions run high here generally but that period was the message board equivalent of Stalingrad.

Agree with you 100% but I guarantee there will be influential people who do the wrong thing because people are really stupid.

I want Moore to be the head coach, but unless the next guy is a bonafide criminal/shitty person, I will push every positive narrative I can at all times.  I mean, as fans we can't do much.  But when a "die hard," which is everyone who comes to a board like this, tells randos that Michigan hired the wrong dude, we become part of the negative/destructive narrative.

And Brian Ellerbe won the Big Ten Tournament before being named the permanent mens basketball coach. I am sure that Sherrone will do well but it is a different beast when you aren't just an interim coach.
