Kick off in 15 minutes. The front page basically says it's a toss-up. If we make our 3's we will be just fine. Miss them, and trouble lurks, though we were only 4-20 from 3 in Iowa City and still won. Let's hope Diabate stops K. Murray and Hunter feasts.
Meanwhile, ohio is thumping sparty with just a few minutes left in that game. Could still be a meteor strike, but at least sparty will extend their losing to something like 7 out of the last 9.

The refs aren't the reason we are losing. The whole team just sucks today. Shit defense, missing bunnies, Iowa can't fucking miss from 3.

Things don't work well when Hunter gets double teamed, finds the open guy and the open guy misses.
I don’t care what anyone says, UM does not get the calls other teams get and it’s atrocious.

Iowa can't miss from three because most of the threes they are taking are wide open. We've left Bohannon completely uncovered at least twice now. Total clown show.

Yeah. I'm not sure effort and defensive belong in the same sentence with this team. They aren't working all that hard. Bohannon is shooting open threes and Murray is driving uncontested to the cup. Not a lot of pride. Defense is more effort than anything else, and this team is definitely hit and miss at that end. Being rated 82 on Ken Pom is real bad. I'm not sure what that says about the future for Michigan. I really hope this is a one year anomaly because I love Howard's sets, but I don't think he's a Coach B level at that end.
Wow. Down 17 at half at home in a critical game. It almost looks like these guys are worn out - just no intensity on defense and no movement on offense.
Guard play is awful. Things get slightly off kilter the team goes 3-4 min with just utter crap on offense.
Ain’t happening tonight. Could tell pretty quick Michigan was flat, and Iowa was hitting everything they put up. Brief moment of hope to get it to 8, then yikes. Oh well. Gotta win Sunday.
For real though. I can’t for the life of me see how teams always make these logo shots against us. It’s just crazy.

1-13 from bufkin, houstan, moussa, and Frankie. The player development of the young guys has really been the failure. Nobody can shoot or score and most don't play good individual or team defense. I hope this isn't a trend. And I really hope next year's incoming class has more to offer in game. Hunter and Eli do everything. Jones is disappointing but is on an island trying to facilitate.
I've seen us blow leads like this so there is hope.

Missing the tournament won’t hurt that badly, honestly. It’s a team with zero upside to make a run, considering it’s illegal for them to win two games in a row.
Can’t be much worse, other than a few Brooks 3’s. D is so bad. Something has to give on D for next year. New coach or something. It’s ugly. Phil’s rotations are so bad. Laughable bad. So many mental mistakes. Don’t recall a more frustrating UM team to watch than this season. Tonight is the bad that just isn’t good. You stop Hunter, we can’t do anything. Sad.
Terrible game for Dante Moore to attend. The atmosphere must completely suck with the team playing with no energy or intensity.
They will need 3 wins in the BTT to get in. Since they can’t win two in a row ever, that’s not likely. Hopefully going to the NIT will make them hungry for next year.
Caleb has a completely set shot. He has to be able to hit shots off the dribble when he has space.
Diabate has been terrible defensively and his man got that put back dunk.

This is quite possibly Diabate’s worst game of the year. Abused by Murray on defense and completely ineffective on offense. Don’t see why TWill has not gotten more run tonight.
