78-3. We score 11 td's and go for 2 in honor of Steve Spurrier.

In honor of Vincent Smith* who died a little after that hit

That hit made Vincent Smith even stronger. The evidence is the work he's doing now.

Wasn't even that hard of a hit. A loose chinstrap and a helmet flying off is what made it look like something. Just goes to show how many people that watch football don't know anything about it. Vince had just taken the handoff and hadn't even taken off yet. Was barely moving and an unblocked 300 lb. freakish mutation of a human gets a head full of steam at a 200 pounder from 5 yards away. Vince was on the ground with his head in the air like, get the hell off of me already. Vince was tough. I've said it before and I'll say it again. What a bunch of dipshits announcers and the average fans are. Sucks to know I'll see that dumb playback like 10 times on New Years Day.

Harbaugh and company, despite a disappointing 2017, will set the tone for 2018 in this game
Brandon Peters has a big game and UM will end the year on a great note!
Should be fun

a man lives out his dream to be the Bloomin' Onion mascot.
Regardless of who wins, Ryan Nanni wins.
But, while I'm here, I also say Brandon Peters sends a message that it's his job to lose.

is meaningless as far as accomplishments, it sure as hell is not meaningless as far as experience and preperation for the future. Practices have been pointed out but also playing in a new years day bowl game along with just game reps against a power 5 opponent mean a lot. As a fan watching my team play while I am recovering from a hangover New Years Days is great. You can disagree with that but you would be wrong.

so it's impossible for anyone to decide what, in itself, has or doesn't have meaning. Perhaps you mean, "lacking implications I consider important."

any idea how exciting it is to play college sports, you don't have a metric to appreciate how much fun it is. and that a chance to play a game in a beautiful place with your 85 best and closest friends on national TV with a whole host of friends and family present and then to go on vacation in florida for even a day or two is really an extraordinary college experience. that would be the exact opposite of 'meaningless'.
i'm guessing you never did that, probably never had anything even remotely approaching that athletic experience, but maybe i'm wrong. would be interested in hearing your story on that issue.

as a former college athlete i can tell you that i thought all the games i played in were meaningful, though of course i found the ones i got more playing time a little more meaningful.
and specifically as it relates to football, i played until my early 40's, stopping only when we moved back home. i value the games i played in and my kids love watching the videos (most were on TV) to this day. i have fond memories of playing in places like san diego and new york, with tens of thousands of people in attendance, and having the time of my life. even when we lost.
all of that to say i can only imagine you didn't enjoy the sport you played, at least at the college level?

in that regard. you can play double-headers in baseball, all sorts of multiple games in a day in basketball tournament, multiple wrestling matches, etc, but only one football game per week. and it sounds like you didn't like your sport that much.
we learned to play water polo in college, taught by one of the guys on michigan's team. it was a blast. i was amazed at how fast he could throw a ball backwards to the goal without even looking. when he'd miss the net and hit the tiled walls behind it, the place would go 'boom'!
