true, but this is year 2 in a row, and next year isn't looking great in this department either. Hopefully this changes, if you can't recruit your own state, well...
We also have the best shot at the top OT in GA next year in Chris' brother Myles Hinton. Still annoying we are losing so many of the top instate prospects since the signing of the stars.
I'm arguing that Beilein did not have a tough time early in his career as history shows. That is to say, I am invalidating your false claim Beilein had a slow/tough/whatever start to his career and was never in any danger of being fired. People here might have wanted him out but that is out of impatience and myriad of other factors.
Beilein had a much better start than Harbaugh, from wiki:
Beilein's second Michigan team, the 2008–09 Wolverines took a significant step forward. On November 20, the unranked Wolverines upset #4-ranked UCLA, recording their first win over a top-five team in eleven years. On December 6, Michigan posted its second win of the season over a top-five opponent in a rematch against #4 ranked Duke. Wolverines reached the top 25 in the national rankings on December 22, its first appearance since the February 6, 2006 At the conclusion of the 2008–09 Big Ten season, Michigan was given a seven seed in the 2009 Big Ten Tournament. A win over Iowa in the Big Ten Tournament on March 12 was the Wolverines' twentieth of the season. With that win, Beilein had achieved a 20-win season at seven different schools, including four at the Division I level (Canisius, Richmond, West Virginia, Michigan).[2] Three days later, Beilein's Wolverines earned a bid to the 2009 NCAA Tournament, the school's first appearance in 11 years. There, tenth-seeded Michigan defeated the seventh-seeded Clemson Tigers 62–59[152] before losing in the second round to Oklahoma 73–63 (Blake Griffen was a beast in that game).
Beilein teams have produced more with less, won major games with less, then began to get the recruits he needed to make a deeper push in the tourney and we have all reaped the joy of what BB has accomplished. Harbaugh has yet to: beat osu, win the B1G, make it to the rosebowl or playoffs, we lost our 1 BCS game, but have a change for redemption end of the month. I know basketball can be easier to build given fewer players developing cadence and cohesion with each other, but something has to change for football to break through to the next tier.
I went through the story saving periodically, (go to "story' in the pause menu) over a weekend, the whole weekend, then reloaded a save from chapter 6. After the initial chapters end there is the epilogue which is soooo linear and monotonous and became boring quickly.
Just playing for fun now, but I would say get through chapter 3 or 4 first as that is prerequisite for many side missions which, is a substantial part of the 'for fun' play. Oh, and designate a custom outfit AND horse for crimes.

RDR2, but you better have some good free time for it... I binged for a full weekend to make it though the story, now just playing side quests and exploring in down time.
Even if we got the rematch of the game for the conference title and won, I'm not sure we could have passed OU. However, I'll take the rose bowl any year. I don't like moving The Game but I have always wondered about a midseason match up, not every year but maybe a once every few years?Just wonder if it would benefit us at all seeing how turned up we were for our 3 game stretch this year. Maybe switch MSU and OSU once. Not sure if this is an all-or-nothing thought process on Delany's part, in which case I would be against it.

is anyone going to actually provide info on this, or just add to the noise?
Loved this piece Seth! Excellent work!
I think he just was a little uncomfortable with his first BPONE experience. He has the potential to help us avoid said BPONE for 3 years now!
8 is the best, leave it alone
That's disappointing but it's his choice, he's done enough. I hope Tru gets the lions share, love how he cuts it upfield perfectly.

I'd sacrifice a Mr Meeseeks, but I fear it would go closer to this:
Hi Mr Meeseeks can you help us beat OSU?
Can we use this on the recruiting trial? Come to Michigan, go pro, build your own brand. What 17-18 year old wouldn't love that possibility???

welcome to the board

Thanks for clarifying, at first I thought: "Wow! 4 picks by wolverines that's insane!"
