Gets past Ransom!!!

Lathan Ransom deserves a M letter or at least dinner on Donavan. Ransom made the Don legendary.

What, no Stalions in this picture? We were told by o$u slappies that he ran the football team.../s
He used a Harbaughism in the interview. Team looks like they are talking about repeating within the locker room. If they are gonna do it they have to believe it. Make your lives extraordinary.
My favorite part of the video is both Moore and Wink rocking the skinny (Bo) M hats.

Hopefully they make them available for purchase again. Been looking for a Jordan brand Harbaugh hat for a while now and the only place I've seen them is on Ebay (used).
They sell out regularly. They'll be back,, The Mden told me that's their best selling hat, I'm on like my 4th or 5th one, I've had to wait a few times to buy a new one
I would love to see THE DON absolutely go off this season. I'm talking challenge some of Barry Sanders' records, no-doubt-Heisman shit. That's what I'd like to see. He waited his turn. He did some growing up. Now's his time to really shine after flashing his skill set in previous years.
If I'm the coach, we would have some meetings specifically to discuss ways to get him the ball with room to move. He has Heisman-level talent, but he is NOT a bulldozer. He'll get a yard where Mullings can get 6. But get him a clear path and he gone. ohio and Washington are familliar with that....
I think that Moore and Campbell will open up some aspects of the offense that Harbaugh kept closed off. And by that, I mean using Edwards in different spots - in the slot and out wide as a WR, along with routes coming out of the backfield, and - dare I say - wheel routes. You know, the whole Chris Evans in Space package that we never saw from the Harbaughffense, ever.
Of course, those are things we always hoped we'd see in the Harbaughffense, but never did. And by never, I mean never, ever, in the history of eternity, did we ever see anything like that. So maybe this is just another hopeful post? But God I hope not...
One of my biggest complaints last year was the lack of Edwards and Corum on the field at the same time. I hope that even if Mullings or Hall are the primary "between the tackles" RB, they keep him on the field for 70+% of the snaps. We're Michigan. We shouldn't be afraid of two-back sets.

Michigan ran plenty of two back sets last year. They used a TE to be the FB blocking for the RB.
Yes, I’m joking. Michigan did leverage two backs periodically, but they typically motioned Edwards out as a decoy to open up space for Corum to run. The inverse concept of what many of the fans want, because fans want explosive plays whereas the coaches wanted consistent plays.

For Team 144, National Championship, so I am keeping offensive bitching bottled up.
For Team 145, Hell yes, it's completely obvious especially with a lack of playmakers on offense. Involve Donovan more. Get him outside. Be creative. Hell, have fun with it.
With Campbell as OC, I am hopeful this will happen. With all the turnover on offense, creativity is a must this season.
Nobody talking about it but he is going to take snaps as a wildcat. Michigan can seamlessly transition between Orji, Edwards, and Mullings (who's also shown an ability to throw). Shift the backfield and rotate a RB behind center.
What's that sound?
I think I can hear defensive coordinators across the B1G tearing their hair out.
There’s really no reason for him to take wildcat snaps as long as Orji is on the roster

To give Orji a breather. Our Te coach worked for Tony Annese. He clinics that this system requires multiple Qbs, they are going to get hit and put in harms way untold amount of times a game. Think Denard. What if we had a change of pace Qb to spell him for a series. Its all interchangeable because you are running power down hill from formation misdirection. Now if you can shift and change the point of attack then it forces the defense to adjust and or straight up have them guessing. How many looks can you run the same play from.
I think people are going to be shocked by our offense this season. Few things. Zero % chance Moore gets this far into his first spring practice as HC without already all but knowing who his QB is. Rember Moore said he's going to be aggressive in all things he does. We aren't going out there in some basic ho hum offense with Jack Tuttle in auto pilot.

They’ve had like three practices… this is an insane take. You’re giving zero time for any of the QBs to show what they can do or any improvements they make. which would mean Tuttle IS starting. Because he was better than Orji and Denegal last season.
We saw them open up the playbook at the very end of the season with some clutch passes to a wide-open Corum against Alabama. They scheme that up with The Don and he is gone.
The Don took the Mark Sanchez Butt Fumble Play and turned it into The Don Butt Touchdown Play. We should run that more often.
What a marvelous guy The Don is. I'm so happy that he's a Wolverine.
no doubt. and he has apparently overcome some issues in his own life, even during last season. you can't help but to root for a kid like that with that attitude and love for our school.
Agreed! I would love for him to have one tremendously special season.
For real. It was Trente for me last year. This year it's Don.

That's true, his mother Donna died when he was small. He doesn't need more than 15 touches a game to hold up the entire season which could go 16 games. He showed that he can get it done with few carries against Wash.
A great young man. Love to see him taking a leadership role.
I am so thankful that he came back. You can tell the young man loves Michigan!
Cool seeing all of the drills. I hadn't seen the metal [limbo] equipment Loveland ran under low to the ground to avoid being decapitated.

It's a chute, used for pad level, usually with offensive lineman. Makes sure TE's and Receivers are sinking their hips on their breaks.
I'm so excited to see Don at RB1 and Orji at QB1... that makes for fun games.
When do they do open practices to let us in to watch?
HAHAHAHAAAAHAHA!!!! Open practices so the public can watch? LMAO!! You haven't been a Wolverine fan for long, have you? Harbaugh put up tarps around the practice fields so nobody could watch from the bridge next to the field, let alone up next to it. That was (probably) a response to people stealing footage and signs and passing them around the entire league. No way Moore will open it up beyond that.
they built that fence up, wrapped it, and i'm pretty sure they're paying to park that train along the side there too.
(/s on the train bit, but it wouldn't surprise me)
been a fan since 91 - just don't live in the area :)
have only made a couple trips up, but will but up early and often this season
Wow, does that ever sound like the poise and professionalism of a true leader.
I'm curious how they distribute the carries this year. 22' and 23' Corum was the clear bell cow, do they now try an make Edwards into a 20 carry guy? I kind of wonder if he's really suited for that type of role. Especially with Mullings fitting that bruising every down back style, how will they manage the two? You'd assume Edwards is the clear #1, but I don't know if the carries can or will reflect that title.
15-10-10 would be my vote with a three headed attack

One of my favourite moments from the NCG post celebration was when Edwards was asked about his two touchdowns and he said with absolute sincerity with a beaming smile, "How about Blake's runs!"
Love this kid.
He is soooo much more polished in interviews now vs a couple of years ago.
I liked hearing his commentary on Moore as the head coach, sounds like he is the type of leader that the team will rally around which is great.
