Good luck Blake, thank you the Natty, 3 B1G championships and destroying Osu 3 years in a row.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I don't care for the posts that include the red/white "O" emoji in these posts. It brings rage.
January 14th, 2024 at 12:50 PM ^
Link or it didnt happen
I swear, the rush to be the first to post here is stupid. There’s no life prize for it. Or even likes on TikTok.

Man the end of that video hits right in the feels. We've been blessed to have a player like Corum. Braylon Edwards will always be my favorite player, but Corum is definitely right behind him. He's the most consistent player I've ever seen play for Michigan, always came up big when they needed him
January 14th, 2024 at 12:57 PM ^
I fully agree.
In fact, I just posted my thoughts on this a bit downthread.
January 14th, 2024 at 1:00 PM ^
This isn't the OP's first offense, either. Just sayin' ...
January 14th, 2024 at 1:10 PM ^
I am a very lazy poster, so I chose not to OP since someone else will always beat me to it. As my grandpa always taught me, it is far better to be late and not post at all, than be early and post like this.

Cuz every link is accurate?
Thanks, Blake. Go, Blue!
January 14th, 2024 at 12:50 PM ^
Thank you for everything, #2. I’ll be rooting for you at the next level, too!
January 14th, 2024 at 12:50 PM ^
Thanks for everything Blake!! You will be remembered forever! Go BLUE
January 14th, 2024 at 12:51 PM ^
One of my favorite players of all time.
January 14th, 2024 at 12:52 PM ^
Wonder if in the back of his mind he was thinking ifncoming back which is why it took him until the last day before the deadline to declare?
January 14th, 2024 at 12:52 PM ^
Many, many thanks, Blake, for helping to bring so much joy to so many people in the Michigan community! Have a great NFL career and all the best of luck in every other area of life.
January 14th, 2024 at 12:53 PM ^
May his legacy of leadership and work ethic permeate the UM teams to follow. Game sealing runs vs PSU, OSU, Bama and Washington to always be remembered.

Greatest Michigan RB of all time
January 14th, 2024 at 12:59 PM ^
Really? Greatest Michigan RB of all time? Or, how do you tell me you're under 25 without saying I'm under 25.
I'll name a few that would be worthy of consideration for that honor.
- Ron Johnson
- Rob Lytle
- Mike Hart
- Tyronne Wheatley
- Jamie Morris
- Tom Harmon
- Tim Biakabatuka
- Willie Heston
- Chris Perry
- Butch Woolfolk
Dont get me wrong, I LOVE Blake and he definitely belongs on the list but at the top? Personally I'd go with Wheatley as the best I ever saw.
January 14th, 2024 at 1:03 PM ^
I admit, my mind went here as well, but mostly I'd just enjoy the rest of you having the debate - as a fanbase we sure have been blessed with some dudes at the position.

No A-Train?
January 14th, 2024 at 1:12 PM ^
A-train with, or without the Northwestern game that left me stunned, motionless, and speechless for about a day?
January 14th, 2024 at 5:10 PM ^
Thanks for the memory. We were at that game and watched him walk off the field right by us afterwards.
EL rides back to Chicago after Michigan games were fun!
January 14th, 2024 at 1:12 PM ^
Never understood why the band didn't play the great big band song "The A-Train" after an Anthony Thomas TD.

doubled up

Add Anthony Thomas for good measure.
January 14th, 2024 at 1:15 PM ^

and Harlan Huckleby

And Sam McGuffie's HS Mixtape.
January 14th, 2024 at 1:16 PM ^
Why so imflammatory? Tell me you are over 50 without telling me you are over 50.
Blake won 3 big ten championships, a Nationa; championship, would have won a heisman if he wasn't injured, set an overall and season TD record, not to mention everything he did/was off the field. I think it is pretty reasonable for someone to have them as their best RB in Michigan history.
January 14th, 2024 at 1:23 PM ^
Based on his list MGrowOld is well north of 50
January 14th, 2024 at 1:23 PM ^
Double post
January 14th, 2024 at 1:52 PM ^
How is inflammatory to challenge the subjective declarative “the best Michigan RB of all time”?
That’s an opinion, and it’s one I do not happen to share. And I said “he definitely belongs on the list” I just don’t agree he belongs at the top of it.
January 14th, 2024 at 1:23 PM ^
Not arguing here because you can't compare across eras. But Blake is Mike Hart but fast, he has the results, hardware and records to prove it, and he outshines anyone from that list post-1985 at least. Perhaps you would accept a mount rushmore of Heston, Harmon, Blake and one or two of Lytle, Johnson, Woolfolk, Wheatley.
January 14th, 2024 at 1:33 PM ^
Ok - so tell us you’re over 60 without saying you’re over 60 (username excepted). You really are including Chris Perry, Rob Lyle and Butch Woolfolk in consideration for greatest UM back ever? At most the discussion might include Hart, Wheatley, Biakabatuka and Corunna. I’d probably not say Corum is definitively the greatest (I’d probably lean Wheatley / Hart), but we also don’t need to pretend that there are 10 RBs better than Corum either.
January 14th, 2024 at 1:38 PM ^
That is spot on. The problem with 'the greatest' is that it diminishes what all of the greats did, and it simply isn't necessary.
January 14th, 2024 at 2:09 PM ^
When you consider different eras, circumstances surrounding each team, injuries, etc. it's almost impossible to say who was 'the greatest'. It would probably be tough just trying to come up with a definitive top 5.
January 14th, 2024 at 1:02 PM ^
I second this. My favorite Michigan RB not only because of what he did on the field, but also off the field. Football legacy, and human leader.
January 14th, 2024 at 12:55 PM ^
One of my favorite Michigan players to watch and cheer for. Amazing on the field, and even more amazing for all of his charity off of it. Here’s to a long and fruitful NFL career!
January 14th, 2024 at 12:55 PM ^
How about starting to add some content to your frequent OPs?
Right now, because of all the rapid-fire news in the aftermath of our National Championship 🏆, I'm treading lightly on removal of threads.
I would normally delete something that has absolutely no content, and if someone else had immediately posted about Blake and include content, your thread would be gone.
January 14th, 2024 at 1:13 PM ^
@rob f, speak loudly, carry a larger stick...
January 14th, 2024 at 12:56 PM ^
One of the best to ever put on the winged helmet. Thank you for everything you did for this program. You'll never pay for a beer in Ann Arbor again.
January 14th, 2024 at 12:58 PM ^
I think Corum has moved past Hart and Wheatley into my top 5 favorite UM players of all time.
1. AC
2. Desmond
3. Woodson
4. Corum
5. Wheatley
January 14th, 2024 at 1:03 PM ^
Blake is a special human being. I wish I had 10% of his work ethic and commitment at his age.
January 14th, 2024 at 1:13 PM ^
Dennis Norfleet doesn't make the top five?
January 14th, 2024 at 3:51 PM ^
Tough to come up with a top 5 but I would definitely have Woodson, Denard and Desmond there. Then probably Corum and Wheatley. But that leaves out so many great players…. Good problem to have I guess.
January 14th, 2024 at 12:59 PM ^
A great leader of men. A true Michigan Man. Good luck in the NFL.
January 14th, 2024 at 12:59 PM ^
One of the greatest OFF the field Wolverines of all-time too.
January 14th, 2024 at 1:06 PM ^
We'll be cheering for you Blake. One of the best players ever who's actually better at life than football.
Expect that TD record to stand for quite a while.
