Locked on Wolverines Friday Podcast Released (Day family may have illegally accessed Schembechler Hall computers)

Best blog night ever?? It’s like a roller coaster. A really fun one.
November 4th, 2023 at 12:49 AM ^
Site traffic must have been crazy today. I wonder how it compares to other non game days over time. Gotta be up there.
November 4th, 2023 at 1:21 AM ^
Never in a million years would I have guessed this as a consequence for snatching the crown from Ohio State. I knew they were soft. But this? This is Charmin triple-ply, hotel pillow soft.
Take your L's like men, you pansy ass, bitch-made cry babies. I used to have a begrudging, hateful respect for them. I reserved my unabashed, nuance free hatred for MSU. No longer. Can't wait for November 25th.
November 4th, 2023 at 2:41 AM ^
This could be the greatest Game in it’s entire history because Michigan will be so pissed at Day for trying defame the team.
November 4th, 2023 at 7:32 AM ^
Exactly. Harbaugh will leave the first team in to the end!!
November 4th, 2023 at 6:13 AM ^
When you are born on third base, you take shortcuts in everything.
November 4th, 2023 at 6:25 AM ^
I've said it before. Whatever the outcome here (hopefully one somewhat favorable to UM), I'm looking forward to the CliffsNotes.
November 4th, 2023 at 12:42 AM ^
Harbaugh broke that weak, soft, pathetic Karen of a coach
November 4th, 2023 at 12:46 AM ^
Day is a Karen

Like Day's dignity.
November 4th, 2023 at 12:46 AM ^
He just confirmed what Balas reported. But now Balas is all doom and gloom.
November 4th, 2023 at 1:13 AM ^
To be clear, he confirmed the reporting on the PI firm/potential illegal activities, but seemed more neutral and aligned with Sam on the whole Balas doom reporting.
November 4th, 2023 at 1:56 AM ^
In fairness Balas is usually doom and gloom.
November 4th, 2023 at 12:52 AM ^
Harbaugh: buys cheeseburger
Day: sends family to jail
November 4th, 2023 at 12:55 AM ^
Obviously hope this is true but either way, he’s feeling the pressure and knows what’s coming unless he gets us suspended or some shit
November 4th, 2023 at 12:56 AM ^
The passing reference to “Thamel has a copy of an expense report signed by Jay Harbaugh” was a little ominous
November 4th, 2023 at 1:04 AM ^
Hmmm.... I thought he said this is not true or it is not what it seems. I am paraphrasing here
November 4th, 2023 at 1:06 AM ^
Thamel might look good in an orange jumpsuit
November 4th, 2023 at 1:06 AM ^
Rough idea as to when this is said in the podcast?
November 4th, 2023 at 1:14 AM ^
Yeah, that's basically what he said.
He mentioned Thamel may have this, but said that his sources have told him that it either 1. doesn't exist or 2. if it does exist, it wouldn't be related to his sign stealing operation.
November 4th, 2023 at 1:49 AM ^
…an expense report for buying some cheeseburgers
November 4th, 2023 at 3:11 AM ^
Hole said he's been told that the signed expense report is not related to any illicit Stalions activity.
I'm guessing this is the item that Balas was referring to, but don't know for sure.
If that's all there is, we're in the same situation, a rogue crazy guy who designed in disgrace and nothing more.
November 4th, 2023 at 3:59 AM ^
And how many 'articles' are we going to get about that expense report even if it's completely mundane that treat it like a smoking gun?
November 4th, 2023 at 7:17 AM ^
It just a form stapled to an Office Depot receipt.
8ct orange highlighters $8.99
Thamel: “looky looky what I got!”
November 4th, 2023 at 7:34 AM ^
But what does Ryan Walters have to say about that expense report…?
November 4th, 2023 at 6:30 AM ^
UM has an online system for expense reporting and approval thereof. The idea of a signed, i.e. wet signature, doesn't jive with this. Though I suppose it's possible the Athletic Department has an offline process in place for coaches, et al, to approve expenses with a wet signature so that they needn't muck around in the online system...paper then passed to administrators to enter the information into the online system.
November 4th, 2023 at 1:55 AM ^
Ryan Day's private investigator scandal is going to unfold quickly IMO.
November 4th, 2023 at 4:25 AM ^
Question is will Ryan day be coaching osu when we play them?
November 4th, 2023 at 6:27 AM ^
Only if the Big Ten coaches put pressure on the conference.
November 4th, 2023 at 2:08 AM ^
OSU's nickname should be changed from Buckeyes to Moonflowers. Thrives in darkness, have a deceivingly pleasant lemon scent, and are poisonous.
Just kidding. That's an insult to moonflowers. They actually sound pretty great.
November 4th, 2023 at 2:40 AM ^
Sooo stupid and insecure of Ryan Day if true.
November 4th, 2023 at 6:56 AM ^
Stupid and insecure really seems to sum him up.
November 4th, 2023 at 2:53 AM ^
This bye week has certainly been one for the ages.
November 4th, 2023 at 2:54 AM ^
I like Isiah but I'm sorry I don't believe any illegal hacking story.
November 4th, 2023 at 3:15 AM ^
Because you’re imagining 2000s action movie “hacking”. Sure, that’s unlikely - but accessing a drive they were not authorized to access because a Stalions rat gave them the password would be illegal.
November 4th, 2023 at 5:30 AM ^
I imagine it to be a Dropbox (or similar) account Stalions created on his computer the he granted access to his buddies who would upload their sign stealing data.
The investigators accessed from one of the co-conspirators. That makes sense to me, anyway.
November 4th, 2023 at 6:29 AM ^
That's always made the most sense to me (CS putting stuff somewhere outside the UM computing environment).
November 4th, 2023 at 8:20 AM ^
Total guessing on my part, but I’m assuming some piece of evidence from the investigation has been noted by Michigan as something that was or should be stored on a Michigan internal network drive. It’s possible said evidence was copied by Stalions or someone else and stored on an external drive and it was the copy that ended up in with the PI firm, which seems like it would put things in a much more gray area.
November 4th, 2023 at 11:46 AM ^
Possible! Assuming* Michigan has a policy about storing internal stuff on personal accounts, this would be exculpatory on the institutional control charges (and this would show even more slant in the coverage, since they made it sound like this was all stored internally).
*[it might be a big assumption that Michigan Football has common sense compliance controls in place given everything else, but I'm hoping]
November 4th, 2023 at 5:20 AM ^
Name fits
November 4th, 2023 at 4:50 AM ^
I’m just hoping and praying that this ends up like the movie Snatch and we’re the Pikeys and everything gets burned to the ground and shot in the face and we end up with the dog with a crystal Football stuck in its belly.
November 4th, 2023 at 8:17 AM ^
Fuckin in the bushes
November 4th, 2023 at 8:35 AM ^
You like dags?
November 4th, 2023 at 5:26 AM ^
As hilarious as this would be, I’ll wait for someone to prove it before I truly believe it happened.
What Stalions did was bad. This would be so much worse. This is a straight up felony that earns someone some jail time.
Day might be pissing down his leg at the prospect of losing a third straight year, but I’m not sure I’m ready to believe he’d (directly or otherwise) ask someone to commit a felony on his behalf.
Like…..fuck a football game. You go to JAIL for stuff like this.
November 4th, 2023 at 10:31 AM ^
What Stalions did (if he was at the CMU game) was not bad. In fact, it was so not bad that the rule was nearly rescinded recently and the rulebook doesn't even list a penalty for it.
November 4th, 2023 at 6:09 AM ^
This feels a little too good to be true at this point and usually that’s the way it plays out. A guy can hope though.
November 4th, 2023 at 7:13 AM ^
I can’t keep up with all the threads and am sure this exact thing could be buried somewhere else but its loaded with some pretty believable stuff and is worth putting out there again. This is an update to a post I read last night on here (of course I can’t find it). I’m just going to copy and paste the ENTIRE thing. Including the original (as called out at the bottom).
“Sent to me from a message board. Copy pasting as it vibes with everything Ive heard. Only thing missing is that Ohio State has practice film from other teams. Including Georgia. Updating my previous post. Just giving you something before Sam gives us his early morning uodate. I'm off for a nap after this.
1) Connor Stallions is a friend, any worry about him going against the program are gone now. Whats important is that he doesn't have to stay quite once again.
2) Jim Harbaugh and other coaches didn't know, are holding by that. Petiti didn't provide any information contrary to that.
3) Big Ten is a playing a political game. That is why their are so many conflicting reports.
4) "If Petiti really had something, he wouldn't be asking for Michigan to give a 2 game suspension instead would be doing it himself." He is a lawyer and knows the situation he is in.
5) No evidence shown by NCAA or Big Ten to prove Michigan had practice film. Rumours that is actually Ohio State and they are just hoping other programs do too at this point.
6) Ohio State is behind all this. Has gotten the conference all worked up. Ryan Day and family members are directly linked to Felony level hacking. This doesn't bode well for them. They know the firms involved. Some concern about what information from computers from schembechler hall are in the hands of Ohio State and other coaches. "They will have to pay. Be patient. When/if this goes to court this case will be thrown out. Their will also be prosecutions quite possibly."
7) This doesn't affect the contract being signed as of yet other than it may be a little more later down the road. This is all me.... Be loud and show your support for Purdue. Jim Harbaugh and team chants all night long.
Previous stuff below.... Update for today 11/3....
1) Stallions resigned, and he is no longer required to "stay quite".....I am told he is still all Blue and won't be singing anything bad to anyone. But leaks may come out or he may sing praises of Harbaugh and company. "He is gonna do some favors for Michigan. The opposite could still happen but don't expect that."
2) No damning or new evidence presented. "Not sure where you got that." I'll be as surprised as you." Other person: "Rumours that it can be linked that 1 or all 3 of Minter Jay Harbaugh, and Partridge knew what Stallions was doing. But very unsubstantiated rumors right now."
3) Commissioner wanted 2 game suspension for Harbaugh to be handed down by the university. Ono kindly told Petiti no and to leave. "Why would we do that given the allegations, evidence, and due process? This conversation is over."
4) It's clear Petiti came in with "blood in his mouth." Doesn't want "Michigan to suffer but does want Harbaugh to suffer." Had the backing of other Presidents and ADs apparently. Clarify-Blood in mouth means he was anger and disturbed and was clearly motivated by others.
5) Michigan is lawyering up. Expect a fight. Phone calls gonna be made to AG and others. Update: Petiti is actually more level headed than some others in the conference. Lots of angry folks who want Harbaugh gone for someone on his staff speeding 5mph over. Petiti is feeling it but he is a lawyer too. So wait and see next moves now. Michigan isn't gonna sit with its hands tied.
My recommendation once again is to email Santa Ono and regents to show support for Harbaugh and to fight this thing. Also, contact the state attorney General if you can.
