According to the Twitters Michigan is the most popular team in the CFP
According to the number of Tweets referencing team slogans, Michigan is the team that most of the country wants to win the national championship. Fams in 29 states are rooting for the Wolverines. In the Big Ten states only Ohio supports the Bucks and Nebraska actually is pulling for Georgia (Is this grounds for expulsion or double secret probation?)

How to do a solid by actually posting the link for a person, instead of the instructions for doing so, which does no one aside from the OP any good:

Just give me all the bacon and eggs you have. Wait, wait. I'm worried what you just heard was, "Give me a lot of bacon and eggs." What I said was, "Give me all the bacon and eggs you have." Do you understand?

...and he may drown!

I know how to post the link using the URL source button. The problem stems front the fact that I am posting from an IPhone and whenever I try to use the embed function function gets caught in a loop. Maybe it works better from a desktop.

While we are at it: how do you post photos in posts? I knew how to do it under the previous board format but not this one.
Here's the map of the state-by-state breakdown. Surprised that Idaho is pro-Buckeye...

Where's the Loveland love in Idaho? I don't think OSU has any Northwest talent.

That represents the number of Ohio truckers stuck in Idaho due to recent storms.

Yeah, but it doesn't count unles you have at least 2 degrees from the A2 campus, one from Rackham.
Those are the rules according to MSU and TCU fans, I've heard.

Lest we forget you cannot follow or root for college football prior to actually attending the school you must then support. All children are banned.

What I find absolutely amazing is literally no MSU nor OSU fans ever believe anyone went to Michigan. Whenever I engage anyone on the Twitters they ALWAYS insinuate you're just a bandwagon fan (NTTAWWT) and when I tell them I'm an alum, class of 81, they never believe it.
It's like in their mind there's this enormous group of old empty ivy covered buildings in Ann Arbor that surround a football team. I dont get it.

"What I find absolutely amazing is literally no MSU nor OSU fans ever believe anyone went to Michigan."
The reason is obvious to anyone born and raised in the region. A large subset of MSU students wanted to go to UM but couldn't. Anyone with a high school diploma from an Ohio high school can get accepted into OSU.
So those of us who were accepted into and then went to or (wow!!!) even graduated from UM are a different breed to them. To be in a dialog with such a superhuman blows them away.

That can't be right. Every MSU grad I've talked to also got into Michigan, but chose to go to MSU for reasons

I got into a “spat” with a guy who said he went to MSU because Michigan wasn’t “intellectually challenging” enough for him. He needed a “more rigorous” program. Then he went on to tell me that I was a “Walvie” and didn’t have the look of a real Michigan alum.
I’m totally fine with MSU academics and people choosing MSU over Michigan if they want. I literally do not care if that’s the choice, but that goofy Walmart Wolverine thing they do is just so bizarre. And this guy I was talking to was a complete loon.

That's weird coming from OSU fans because the whole state (slight exaggeration) roots for them, and half of them couldn't get into an online University.

It's funny, when I was in the bathrooms at the Rutgers game a drunk fan demanded to know if I was actually from Michigan. I guess so many of the Michigan fans in NJ are actually alumni originally from NJ.
I assured him I was a native Michigander, and a grad, and he muttered something before walking off without washing his hands.

I've shared this on here before, but I once had a coworker who was a huge MSU fan that would frequently bash UofM for having fans that didn't attend the school. ...He went to WMU.
One day when he was bashing UofM for having fans that didn't attend, I politely pointed out that MSU has fans that went to other schools like the MAC schools. His retort was something like "but UofM has more of those." I then asked if a fan was less of a UofM fan if he went to WMU and that point either went over his head or he evaded it.
Sparty gonna STAEE.

Yep, I had a similar experience with a guy who went to CMU and stans MSU like a freak. It's fun to mock them for it, but I don't even try to understand it anymore.

So basically the only folks in the whole country who think OSU is the greatest team in the history of sports are people in Ohio? I’ll never forget watching a buckeye fan in his pajamas get into a fight at an airport bar during a layover. I can’t say what team the opposing fan was, but fitting none the less.
December 28th, 2022 at 9:57 AM ^
I don't think in terms of statistics (my betting record proves this...), but I can deduce the following:
Seeing someone in their PJ's in an airport lounge == really rare
Seeing someone get in a physical altercation in an airport lounge == also really rare
Combining the two == really, really rare...
UNLESS
An OSU fan is involved. (along with the MSU corollary)
