Lions managed to address pressing needs at CB, DT, and G with top 100 prospects. I’d say they did okay. The two middle picks are trust me type selections which this regime has earned the right to say.
Cornelius is probably the next guy to go. Harrell probably after him.Not sure at all about Nugent, Henderson, or Trente. Turner will be an UDFA as will Wallace.

They can still get a quality G in the 5th-6th rounds to develop. I was really hoping for Zinter. Alas…
They have Sorsby from last year and Holmes has openly admitted that they need to keep adding to OL. G is going to be filled. Just a matter of when. I wouldn’t be surprised if they took two guards.
Decker, I think, will be back on a team friendly deal. But if not they will find an OT in next year’s draft.

NFL teams evaluate players on what skills they exhibit regardless of what opposing teams gameplan for.

The draft is a crapshoot. Especially so at this stage. Going with a hyper athletic project to replace Decker is an acceptable risk.
