NFL Draft Discussion-1st round

Where does JJ go? Any other Michigan guys in first round. I’m not from Michigan but I will throw in the question of who do the Lions go after? If I’m the Bears I’m drafting JJ and then Odunze. I just think he will be better than MHJ. Thoughts overall?

Nabers is a unique guy because he's not shaped like a big outside WR you usually seen taken so high in the draft; he's 6' and 200 lbs, so about the same size as Roman Wilson.  In the right system he's fantastic but my one concern if I'm drafting him is he's not going to be a huge downfield contested catch guy and you gotta not try to make him into one in your offense because he's your X receiver.

Rare? Sons of athletes have better careers than their fathers all the time.

Steph Curry, Kobe Bryant, Kyrie Irving, Moises Alou, Prince Fielder, Peyton and Eli Manning, Ken Griffey Jr., Barry Bonds, Cal Ripken Jr., Floyd Mayweather Jr., Clay Matthews Jr., Andrew Luck, Matt Hasselbeck, Christian McCaffrey is one his way, etc., and this is just a start.

Williams is a very good QB has talent but that attitude he showed in games this year was very telling… me first , sulking on the bench !!!

I’m obviously biased, but I truly believe JJ will be the best NFL QB drafted tonight.  I think JJ with Sean Payton would be a very formidable combo for years, but I assume he’ll go to the Giants or Vikings.  Other than that, I want UM to break Georgia’s record and I can’t wait to see what the Lions do.  I’m 56 years old and still have to pinch myself when I realize I’m confident in the Lions decision making.

I think they made a big mistake. Maye is in that mold of ACC QB who is well rounded but not spectacular enough to really excel in the NFL. Reminds me of Daniel Jones and Mitch Trubisky. They check a lot of QB-prototype boxes but they don't have 'it.'

Even though New England is down right now, I was hoping they would have selected McCarthy. They could have sat him for a year while they tanked so they could really load up in next year's draft. The Brady years have made me fond of New England. I spent twenty years rooting for that team.
