That's "Iggles."
Keegles
Gotta keep that shit tight!
Pick 172
Has any college team ever had a player drafted in every round?
If not, there's about to be
Would be an interesting question, I googled the 2022 nfl draft since Georgia had 15 total draft picks in that one - it looks like they didn’t have any players drafted in the 5th or 7th round that year.
K-E-E-G-A-N! Keegan!
He gets to continue working against some great DTs. Seems like a good dude to take over Jason Kelce's role as the smart, nasty dude on that OL.
Is my math correct? Keegan makes it nine Michigan players drafted - thus far. Just over two rounds remain.
Wishing them all well. Go Blue!
Seems unlikely that we’re going to get there but still cool
Zinter is probably the biggest steal but Keegan isn’t far behind. These guys are gonna have great careers.
Great landing spot for #77. Eagles OL coach Jeff Stoutland is arguably the best OL coach in the NFL, worthy of HOF consideration imo.
Mrs. Stoutland, do assistant coaches typically merit HOF consideration just on that basis?
I kid, he clearly has gotten some great results from that O-line.
Sherrone Moore and Jeff Stoutland as your OL coaches in succession? Jfc. He's set up well.
Cornelius is probably the next guy to go. Harrell probably after him.Not sure at all about Nugent, Henderson, or Trente. Turner will be an UDFA as will Wallace.
Trente shoulda stayed.
McGregor too.
McGregor going I think was a function of likely being passed by Derrick Moore for his nominal starting spot. Moore was on the field and not McGregor on that final 4th down play vs. Bama for a reason.
80 picks to go to break the record and we need 7 more drafted.
Good luck Trevor
We have to go on a strong run if we are going to break the record…I hope to see it though, a Wolverine every few picks
But are the Bills finally drafting a Wolverine?
Part of the way through the 6th and Michigan and Texas are tied at 9 picks apiece
Joe Milton to the Patriots in rd 6
Texas with 11 picks and counting. Looks like Sarkesian didnt meet expectations based on his roster
Michigan players not getting drafted is shocking but even more shocking is all of them still had eligability...or just about all.
I'm guessing our lack if NIL has something to do with them not returning.
They won a national title and three Big Ten titles in a row. They have nothing else to prove by staying.
Maybe nothing to prove, but still could get better to make themselves get drafted. A good number of these guys will not get drafted. I am sure some might make a practice squad from a FA signing, but others will be going pro in something other than football now.
It’s not really that shocking.
CoJo and McGregor didn’t have the production. McGregor had the added issue of injuries.
Harrell doesn’t have the measurables.
Trente was a part time starter.
Nugent and Henderson are average talents.
It is what it is. They will forever be part of a legendary run. They will all be remembered for being part of an exceptional team.
Doesn’t look like Michigan is going to come close to breaking the record..
UPDATING AS THE DRAFT GOES: Michigan will not come close to tying the record for most players drafted. With 253 draft picks in the books, nearing the end of the seventh round, only THIRTEEN Michigan players have been drafted.
Michigan players yet to be drafted are Drake Nugent, Trente Jones, Josh Wallace, Braiden McGregor, Karsen Barnhart, Gemon Green and James Turner. The Chargers had the 225th pick and chose USC wide receiver Brenden Rice, son of Jerry.
The Chargers took Cornelius Johnson with the 253rd pick in the seventh round.
At this point, free agency would probably be best for the remaining guys. But yes, disappointed we didn't have more drafted
Barrett was just taken - number 10
If Mike Barrett hadn't been taken before the 253rd pick, I think that Harbaugh might've been happy to take him there.
