Speaking of rankings did anyone see the new On3 2021 rankings? They’re pretty different from Rivals and 247. I heard that there 2022 rankings will factor into the composite once they come out too.
This would be a great pickup. Recently jumped from a 87 to a 90 on 247sports and still seems to be rising. It would be nice to finally get one of our top TE targets after striking out on guys like Thomas Fidone and Theo Johnson. I assume this means no Oscar Delp but he’s seemed Georgia bound for a while.
This is kid is definitely gonna get a boost in the rankings. He’s not only 6’6 285lbs also has offers from PSU, Georgia, MSU. Originally from Canada but just moved Connecticut for more exposure. Both MSU and PSU wanted him bad, this is a big recruiting win for Michigan.

If Katin Houser doesn’t flip MSU is screwed at QB since we just took Denegal. This puts a ton of pressure on them to flip Houser because they have no other back up QBs.
Take this with a grain of salt but I know MSU was all over Denegal at the start of the cycle. Then I heard a few MSU 247 guys saying he was there 3rd QB on there board behind Justyn Martin and Katin Houser. Both are committed elsewhere so I doubt MSU flips either. Also MSU insiders consist of guys like Sean Scherer so I wouldn’t read into it too much.
No one other than the staff and Nate Johnson know what happened in this recruitment. The facts are there for you to form your own opinion. From what I’ve read the staff is taking there time to evaluate multiple QBs and still offering some players. I don’t remember anyone ever being confident about Worthy other than when he committed. His recruitment was a rollercoaster that never seemed to end.

DPJ tanked his draft stock with bad interviews I think before the draft he was projected mid 3rd round but ended up slipping to the 6th. Either way I think he’s in a good situation in Cleveland.
I hate giving credit to OSU but I don’t understand why more CFB teams haven’t gone after Brian Hartline for a OC job. I realized he’s never called plays before but he’s got a NFL background and is debatably a top 3 recruiter in the country.
From what I’ve heard Toia flashed a lot during the USC spring game but didn’t mesh well with Vic So’oto. I know some USC fans where saying he was uncoachable which you can choose to believe or not. Michigan finished 2nd in his recruitment but I would watch out for UCLA if we do decide to pursue.

Tennessee already has former top 100 recruit Harrison Bailey and Virginia Tech transfer Hendon Hooker already competing for the job. I would assume Milton ends up somewhere in Florida probably FAU, USF, UCF, maybe even FSU if they don’t think Chubba Purdy is ready after McKenzie Milton leaves.
Looks like Wiltfong already put in a CB for Cade Klubnik to Clemson after Ty Simpson committed to Bama. So it looks like Clemson will not be offering Allar which is great for Michigan’s chances. Also Tayven Jackson is the younger brother of Indiana basketball star Trayce Jackson-Davis so I’m not sure if he leaves Indiana. Michigan could still try there chances with KY QB Gavin Wimsatt or AL QB Tanner Bailey.
I wouldn’t pay to much attention to the 247 rating as 247 likes the speedy elusive guys over the bigger more physical guys. A good example is how they tanked Cristian Dixon, Beaux Collins, Marvin Harrison Jr rankings last year just because they don’t fit the speedster mold.
Definitely possible considering USC just did it this past recruiting cycle as they got the QB Jaxson Dart (No.65) and QB Miller Moss (No. 75). Texas’s QB room is very depleted. Also I guess Texas did it in 2020 as they got Ja’Quinden Jackson and Hudson Card both rated in the top 100.
Kaleb Brown is a weird situation. OSU probably leads but he’s the 5th/6thWR on there board reportedly. At the most they take 4 WRs this cycle and they already have one commitment in Caleb Burton. They have one soft commit in Kyion Grayes and are heavily pursing Kojo Antwi. Question is if they want a 4th WR in the class and I think if they do want a 4th WR they pick PSU commit Kaden Saunders who will not be committed to PSU for very much longer. This leaves Brown to Michigan.
Myles Pollard would be a huge commitment considering he has serious Bama interest. Not sure why he didn’t get a rating bump considering he has offers from many major schools. Also I know on his Instagram he was hinting at a Top 10 coming soon but hasn’t posted anything else since.
I think Harbaugh would have a good chance if he did choose to pursue Klubnik as he’s a TAMU legacy. But TAMU already has QB Conner Weigman who is gonna end the cycle as a 5 star. So the only real threat right now is Texas who want to end the cycle with another QB along with Maalik Murphy.

But I heard Michigan is at least in contact with LB Mike Jones and Insider Allen Trieu has said Lance Dixon is all Michigan. I also know a majority of fans out there want Michigan to grab DT Mohammed Diallo out of CMU. Yesterday Oklahoma CB Brendan Radley-Hiles entered the transfer portal. He was ranked very high in high school coming out of IMG and he plays with a lot of heart but is considered a liability on defense sometimes. USC LB and former 5 star Palaie Gaoteote is also in the portal not sure if Michigan has a chance considering his brothers at MSU but I thought I would mention him.
Heard some Colorado guys say that former Michigan DT target Victory Vaka was actually processed out of Colorado’s class for Iwunnah. This shows that Iwunnah is more than likely being disrespected by the recruiting ranking websites.
This will be a tough pull for Harbaugh as Klubnik is a Texas A&M legacy and Texas A&M just offered. But I think there’s a chance if Michigan wants him especially with Linguist on the staff.
Looking at Kjar’s teammates at Corner Canyon ATH Jackson Light and QB Jaxson Dart both we’re ranked fairly low before receiving massive boosts from the recruit ranking websites. On 11/30/20 Dart went from 412 to 187 and Light went from 470 to 179. So while there is a possibility Kjar has D1 potential I’m guessing there’s either a speed problem or route running problem. You also have to factor in wether or not Kjars gone to any camps as I’m guessing the level of competition Corner Canyon plays against isn’t the best which would scare teams from offering.
Michigan Harbaugh and Nebraska Scott Frost are not comparable at all. Harbaugh has not only had more winning success but has also had more recruiting success and has sent a lot more players to the NFL. Not counting 2020, Harbaugh's worst season at Michigan was 2017 where he went 8-4 which would be better than Frosts best season at Nebraska.
It was mentioned on the PSU 247 board that Dixon was looking at transferring and that Michigan was probably at the top of his list then Dixon liked Makari Paiges WB (West Bloomfield) to AA (Ann Arbor) tweet. I definitely wouldn’t say it’s a done deal but there seems to be some smoke.
Some UM fans are saying he was used wrong in there defense but I’m not sure how true that is. I look at it as he’ll technically only be a sophomore due to the extra year of eligibility and his potential is high.

Luke is a poor mans Lamar Jackson, struggles with passing but electric in the run game. Should be fun to see how he develops under Satterfield.
