5* Greg Brown PF 2020

4* Colin Smith SF 2020

-Kennedy is the other top PG in the 2021 class; we are also involved with Khristian Lander

-1st instate offer

Lets get that W for the good guys. Crisler should have a great atmosphere.

Nothing precarious about it...instruct me how you are going to defend this group. The NBA does not employ a "PG" anymore and it makes for some pretty efficient play. You put the ball in your best players hands and let them trigger the offense-make plays and make space for their teammates. This group would be stunningly difficult to defend for even elite, physically-gifted college teams-every player demanding full attention.

I would definitely agree with your use of the word "giant".  That's quite an array of talent.  Maybe Juwan can suit up a couple of them for the game - especially Brown and Hardy.

I feel like I have unfortunately reached the stage where I am going to DVR games and watch them later if we won.  Lot of dong punches lately.  Kind of tired of dong punches.

"No, you clearly don't know who you're talking to, so let me clue you in. I am not in danger, ijohnb. I am the danger. A guy opens his door and gets dong-punched and you think that of me? No. I am the one who knocks!" ~Coach Howard's burner acct

More missed 3s and layups.

Waiting till Livers is healthy to get this team on track. Question is: Can he stay healthy?

If this is actually what you think, you have a lot to learn about basketball. How many absurdly open shots do we have to miss?

I would say Juwan's tactical issues are notably lesser than the average first-year head coach. To my mind, the only valid question about the new regime is found in Jon Teske's severe regression on both sides of the ball this year. I don't have an explanation for it, but it seems odd that Davis and Johns would improve so significantly while Teske languishes, which makes me question whether it has anything to do with Juwan in the first place, and maybe more to do with Teske.

Otherwise the significant talent upgrade from those already committed to our 2020 class, whether we retain Todd or not, is more emblematic of the culture we're going to see. Let the guy work with some of his own players before maligning him. Zeb, Todd, Dickinson, and Williams can all can it from deep.

Hope they can keep it close and just make it an entertaining game for the ‘croots. I’d love to win, sure, but seeing as how Winston is probably going to go off for 35 points, 12 assists and 7 rebounds, I’m not getting my hopes up.

Can we get some drunk rowdy students in the arena instead of the usual crowd? I'm tired of us having such a shitty student section, this is a huge weekend

Michigan's play on the court will not persuade recruits.  They are smart enough to recognize the lack of talent on the current roster and the possibility of playing immediately.

It's year one for Howard so he gets more leeway.

This isn't like Harbaugh and football.

What's different about Harbaugh and Howard in there first year?  If Howard doesn't make the tourney, the negative recruiting will start immediately next year.  He needs to take advantage now, or things could go south in recruiting.

JB couldn't lead this team to a tourney if he was still around.

I think Jim Harbaugh exceeded all expectations in year one.  From where Hoke finished off his tenure, you wouldn't have thought 10 wins in year one for Harbaugh. However, after four years, the glow of Harbaugh has clearly worn off.

Howard on the other hand still has this glow around him still.  That will not go away, even if this team doesn't make the tourney.

Let's talk after year 2.

Two things..

First, these are JBs players and he surely would have led them to the tourney.

Second, Harbaugh is par for the course.... He has done very well.  Look over to EL where Dantonio just quit.  He crushed the rise of their program.   Forget OSU for the moment because that's something that the got hosed on with the hometown ref crap in the Horeshoe.  Harbaugh took care of the state first, and crushed the instate rival.

Also worth mentioning that UCLA, one of our two main competitors for 5* SG Josh Christopher, just signed Jaylen Clark, the #21 Shooting Guard in the country. That seems to bode well for us as they play the same position. Seems like the biggest competition is still ASU and the family factor, but potentially good omens for the good guys.
