Giles is listed as “out/redshirt” he played 4 games wrapped around injuries and then shut it down for Apple Cup to preserve redshirt. I think the newish “post season doesn’t count” rule is for ONE game: Conference Championship, bowls, cfp, title.
It also sucks that Michigan isn’t in the home locker room, so the WR core could roshambo for Nico Collins’ locker… and have the freshman poo in CJ Stroud’s locker (& Noah Brown/Cam Johnston).
His NWU bio lists him as a senior. I’m ASSuming that he has (or will) have degree in-hand, as Michigan likely won’t accept any bumbass Northwestern credits! When I was at UofM (1996-21), NWU was on trimesters, those credits are only worth 1/3rd, tops.
I was a sophomore. I remember when my friends and I took our paid-for, student-ticket vouchers and exchanged them for paper tickets on site, the scalpers where there waiting. A guy approached us and said, "holy shit are those SEVEN together? I'll give you a thousand dollars each." No deal. Can't put a price on the best day of my life.
I'll be there. My Father in Law got a 4 pack through MSU. He, my MiL, and wife are all Spartans. But as I tell people, "My wife then got two UofM degrees to class up her resume."
The great part is, as soon as FiL secured the tickets for the four of us, the Spartan-in-Laws have a conflict so can't go. Replacing them will be two additional Wolverines.
The helicopter flyover may have been out of sync because there was a plane in the airspace late. Not the Coors Light or White Claw, but a non-bannered plane.

Middle Tennessee State at Alabama (730p/SECN): Sure watching JJ McCarthy, Cade McNamera (Iowa), Joe Milton (Tennessee), and Alan Bowman (OKST) play football is cool; but watching one-time Wolverine walk-on QB#6 take on Alabama is next-level. Go Ren Hefley!
Duke’s Mayo Classic - North Carolina at South Carolina (730p/NBC): Are you not excited about the s3xiest post-game in all of sports?!??
I always look at which West team ducks at least 2 of UofM, ohio, and/or Penn State as the front runner for the division. Illinois ducked ohio & PSU last year, but couldn't quite close out the division. This year Illinois & Iowa don't play the Wolverines or _uckeyes. Wisconsin doesn't play the Wolverines or Lions.
I'm headed out to Minnesota, for what will be my 10th. Oddly enough, @Nebraska, @ Maryland, and @ Penn State are the ones I'm missing and all on the 2023 slate. Going Pokemon on all of them would be fun, before we at the LAs next year.
I'll be there with 3 others. It will be my 10th B1G venue. I got tickets from UofM during their sale of aways to season ticket holders (In April and not heavily marketed). Like the OP, I got @IU'22 from IU's ticket department. It's a good move to keep $$$ out of Stubby Hubby's hands.
I had a small round-table discussion class (American Culture) with Tom Brady and about a dozen others. Lots of interaction, but nobody was fan girling over QB#3(?) at the time.
HOWEVA! I was once riding an elevator in the Book Cadillac in Detroit (ahead of the MSU "@" FAU game with my Spartan-in-Laws) with Wallace Shawn. It took all I had not to say, "INCONCEIVABLE!"
What UTL special had that weird egg-thing wheeled out at halftime to a Beyonce song, giving a brief flash of excitement that Queen B would jump out of it for a surprise halftime show, but all we got was some glitchy scoreboards and flashing lights?
With all do respect (and there's LOTS of it!) to the GOAT, Mike Hart, his disciples are NOT getting caught from behind or beaten to the edge this year!

Now that it's mine, I have one issue: Zero Turn = Zero Free Hands. No free hand to hit FF on your walkman. No free hand for a friendly wave to neighbor, or an unfriendly bat a low limbs. No free hand for 12oz lawn mower fuel.
B1G Beer Stadiums (in order of capacity): Beaver, Toilet Bowl, Kinnick, Memorial (ILL ed.), Ross-Ade, Memorial (IND ed.), SHIt, Maryland, Huntington Bank, as well as the Rose Bowl and LA Memorial Coliseum.
Have Nots: Michigan, Memorial (NEB ed), Camp Randall, Spartan, Ryan Field
You would have to think that the location was at least "agreed to in principal" and was just waiting for the ink on the crossed T's and dotted i's to dry, when the date change was announced a ~week ago.
Cynically, I fear that some discretionary B1G/BTN funds may have been directed towards subsidizing MSU's move to a neutral, where the facility tends to take all/most of ticket and vendor revenue. ASSuming that most of Sparty tickets were sold even with no-shows, that money needs to be recouped. An empty Spartan Stadium certainly isn't selling many dogs and hot chocolates to the no-shows. A slice of the vendor profits from Ford and a B1G/BTN subsidy may turn a profit? Not enough to cover Mel's buy out, or even game-check (~$800k), but it's close to balancing the loss of a home game.
I'm also going to ASSume that Ford Field will get a "State of Michigan" exception to the no-booze rule?.... though that may be moot by fall, depending on pending legislation.

From what I've read, Nebraska doesn't score well with AAU criteria on two points:
1) The AAU doesn't weight "agricultural science" that heavily (a field heavy with more than a few B1G's).
2) They lose points for not having their medical school on their main campus. Nebraska's medical school is at their Omaha campus.
