As many have stated, I also would love to see a Michigan alum on the SCOTUS. However, hard to fathom a candidate that would align with the President's thoughts as to the laws of the Republic. Sounds like we'll all know soon.
Sucks for Miggy & Tiger fans, but it also sucks that the young hitters on the team don't get the benefit of his wisdom as a hitter, and how he goes about his craft. I think many of them could progress a lot faster with his help. Losing him as a clubhouse guy, not simply on the field, is a big hit.
Exactly how I feel. Regardless how you feel Peters looked during games, he was IN the games. DM has never seen the field and he's anointed #2? Not sure I agree with that take OR that Patterson is gone after one year. What has he shown that would make him a high round draft choice? If he goes out this fall and leads M to the Big Ten Championship and maybe a playoff berth then maybe he goes, but that's a long way off. Let's see if this team can beat ND first. Baby steps.

I'm critical of Beilein sometimes. The slow starts, inconsistency & hero ball drive me crazy. At the midpoint of the season, I didn't think this team had ANY chance of an NCAA bid, let alone winning the B1G tournament. They've really come together. Walton has shown me some major stones. Think they should beat OK St, but IMO it's all gravy from here on.
There HAS to be somebody out there who can inject some energy into this program, and recruit some basketball players. They're not even stagnant right now; they're regressing.
Thought the Lions were really going to take off after that season. Then they let Eric Kramer get away from them, and started their next run down the hill... Sigh...
