Yes, we are. We all thought we were going to be relevant and competitive and in the mix for titles. Instead, we are no better than what we were. Actually, we are worse, because of all the noise we made about coming back. Pathetic. And very sad.

The offense was so hard to watch, I turned it off at the beginning of Q4. 8-5 is a pretty mediocre result. The consolation is that the team was very young this year, and I think they’ll turn it around next year.

I came to the boards to read intelligent thoughts about the football game and how we can actually improve and found this. I just don’t understand some Michigan fans.

No kidding! There are teams each of these three years who have done more with less talent than we have. Do we ever make it back? What's the indication that anything is going to change? Coach can be inflexible when he's winning. When you're losing, you also start losing the benefit of the doubt.

Me? Nope. I wanted to hear other fans’ thoughts on how we can get better - exactly what I said in my post. My way of getting past a loss is to think about what needs to improve. I prefer that to just saying nasty things, but I see that not everyone feels that way.

Jesus - now some of you are attacking me? I want to win and I’m pissed off too but I don’t understand threads like this, that are basically ‘we’re so sad, we want to feel worse’ instead of actually talking about how you get better. Is it a total clean out of our offensive staff? Is it just Drevno? Is it Harbaugh taking over play calling? And is Patterson really a potential answer? Or are we mired with our current line personnel?

Teams with coaching staffs that can identify and develop talent. Oh and teams with coaches that take a month worth of preparation to actually game plan against their opponents and sure up some of the team's shortcomings. So teams not named Michigan. Think OSU, MSU, PSU, WIS, etc. Basically all of our peers.
