Beat me by a few seconds!
February 9th, 2019 at 8:28 PM ^
Actually looks pretty legit from the intro show. Those all black Birmingham Iron uniforms look like a nice cross between Permian and the Miami Sharks of Willie Beamen fame.
February 9th, 2019 at 8:30 PM ^
Agree, looks legit.
February 9th, 2019 at 8:31 PM ^
The NFL may have issues. How to market a product is most definitely NOT one of them. These are veteran NFL guys who understand the business of pro football. Does that mean this is a viable league? I have no idea.
February 9th, 2019 at 8:31 PM ^
Thanks for the reminder. I’ll give it a shot.
Hate the commentator though (Spero Dedes)
February 9th, 2019 at 8:38 PM ^
There aren't nearly enough decent commentators to cover the NFL and college football.
February 9th, 2019 at 8:48 PM ^
It’s not that he’s bad at his job, I just hate his voice so much. It is very unique and (IMO) annoying

When does the Axis of American Football kickoff?
February 9th, 2019 at 9:30 PM ^
Via Belgium on a bicycle. August 5, 1914.
Things worked out great for no one.
February 9th, 2019 at 11:21 PM ^
Technically, that was the “Central Powers” in 1914.
The Axis formally kicked off on September 1, 1939 with Panzers into Poland... where, once again, things worked out great for no one

Well done. That is true. It is difficult to pin point a start of hostilities in WWII. It is also a fun thought experiment to contemplate that WWI didn’t really end. (And we still haven’t de-militarized combatants today.)
happy Sunday everyone!!!
February 10th, 2019 at 5:14 AM ^
When "blitz" had a whole different meaning.
February 9th, 2019 at 8:32 PM ^
Mike Riley made me want to run through a wall right there!!
February 9th, 2019 at 8:32 PM ^
Looks like regional coverage by CBS or stream from CBS all access.
February 9th, 2019 at 8:44 PM ^
I tried streaming the other game on cbs all access but it is only showing the SD/SA game.
February 10th, 2019 at 12:06 AM ^
I went to aaf.com and had the games broadcast. At least through my cable feed.
February 10th, 2019 at 10:16 AM ^
This AAF game was on our CBS affiliate in Topeka, KS. At first I thought it was like a 2nd pro bowl game for the players who did not make the pro bowl.
February 9th, 2019 at 8:45 PM ^
welp, there's the AAF's first concussion
February 9th, 2019 at 8:48 PM ^
That was an amazing hit.
February 9th, 2019 at 9:13 PM ^
Hit of the year.
February 9th, 2019 at 8:57 PM ^
In that order?
February 9th, 2019 at 8:59 PM ^
Omg...Starter is still a brand?!! Just saw the sleeve logo.
February 10th, 2019 at 10:34 AM ^
I had the EXACT same thought. What’s next, Zubaz?
February 9th, 2019 at 9:00 PM ^
You can stream the ATL game on aaf.com. It's not actually terrible so far.
February 9th, 2019 at 9:05 PM ^
Lol split backs formation a few plays ago, nice to see Mike Martz using his same playbook from the 90s
February 9th, 2019 at 9:08 PM ^
I love American Alliances!
February 9th, 2019 at 9:15 PM ^
I'm sure you do!
February 10th, 2019 at 1:17 AM ^
I am skeptical of this statement.
February 9th, 2019 at 9:15 PM ^
We are down in FL and the Atlanta/Orlando game is being televised here but so far very little of Denard. He’s being used as a RB and he’s only been in for two or three plays with little if any yards gained.
I’m bummed... kind of looked forward to seeing him play tonight. I had hoped he might be playing QB and then saw Atlanta had him listed as a RB. Big disappointment.
Not at all like I remember... https://youtu.be/A7f-9_1y-zk
February 9th, 2019 at 9:18 PM ^
IS that Gary Danielson on the broadcast ?
Its nice to hear him call a game without the SECs cock in his mouth .
February 10th, 2019 at 7:39 AM ^
He is at least a little easier to understand without the phallic impediment.
February 9th, 2019 at 9:22 PM ^
Touchdown Deveon Smith.... Also of note... Orlando game officiated by John O'neil
February 9th, 2019 at 9:22 PM ^
Not much Denard yet, but De’Veon Smith just scored a touchdown for Orlando. Nice to see him playing football.
February 9th, 2019 at 9:23 PM ^
We need a team in Detroit. I’d go.
February 9th, 2019 at 9:31 PM ^
Move the lions to the AAF.
February 9th, 2019 at 9:52 PM ^
I don't know.....I feel like that deprives us of having the maximal stage on which to show the world that, try as we might, we just can't manage it for some reason.
February 9th, 2019 at 11:28 PM ^
I bet they go 8-8
Actually, if you believe in the transitive property of football wins - the Lions actually won the Super Bowl seeing as to how they beat the Patriots /s
February 9th, 2019 at 11:45 PM ^
I'll take that bet. They only play 10 games.
February 9th, 2019 at 9:27 PM ^
Those officials uniforms...ugh!
February 9th, 2019 at 9:28 PM ^
I'm digging the "only one commercial" breaks
February 9th, 2019 at 9:32 PM ^
OH MY FUCKING GOD
John O'Neill is an official. The AAF is dead.
February 9th, 2019 at 9:34 PM ^
February 9th, 2019 at 11:06 PM ^
You have to be the second most miserable fucker on this board. Maizen still has you beat... I think.

February 9th, 2019 at 9:36 PM ^
So far, not gimmicky, and pretty good quality.
February 9th, 2019 at 9:51 PM ^
Hard to find the will to care about these teams, but the level of play is definitely there.
