Right now the NFL is the better place to coach. College football is a shit show and no one is doing anything to fix it. I hate to break it to all you doomers out there but this is probably the new normal until someone fixes the chaos that is college football. There are head coaches at the college level leaving to be coordinators in the NFL. Nick Saban retired. The writing is on the wall.
You can add me to the part of the fanbase that is happy we won it all. It was an awesome ride and everything else is just icing on the cake. I'm ready to see what coach can put together. We knew players and coaches would be exiting the program. It's just silly to think Harbaugh was the only one leaving. Take some time to enjoy the championship run and live a little. We went through some shit years and it didn't look like we would ever make it to a championship game.
Coach Harbaugh wanted to go back to the NFL. If it was the first year he flirted with the idea I would blame Warde.
If Harbaugh wanted to stay he would have stayed and negotiated the contract he wanted. He didn't need to use the NFL as leverage. He just went 15-0 and won a national championship. I think that's the best leverage you can take into negotiations.
It's sad to see him go but this is not on Warde. Jim was leaving if he got an offer from an NFL team. I don't blame him for jumping into the NFL. College football is rapidly changing and not for the better. When you see someone like Nick Saban retiring that tells you a lot.
Prior to this current run that Michigan is on Harbaugh took a pay cut and was probably on the borderline of being fired. I’m sure he didn’t feel much love. That has to be in the back of his mind that this fan base can turn on you quickly. I would keep my options open too and one could argue that if you still have interest in going to the NFL his stock isn’t going to get any higher.
Didn't throw a pass in the 2nd half. Showed the world that this team can still be physical and run the fucking ball. The defense was amazing. I loved the coaching. Moore is a DAWG. Loved the passion in the post game interview. TELL THE FUCKING WORLD!!!
Cade should have never went to Iowa. I don't know what options he had but that's the last place a QB that won a conference championship and made an appearance in CFP should go play.
They lost by 22 at home as a 9 point favorite. No way they should even be considered for the playoff. Michigan, Georgia and TCU should be locks. USC should get the last spot.
I went alone for the 2015 MSU game. The people were amazing. I got to Ann Arbor around noon on Friday before the game. I walked to the stadium just to see it since it was my first trip. I was stopped by a gentleman that worked for the athletic department. He asked me if I wanted a tour of The Big House. Of course I said yes. He had a golf cart pick me up and take me to where the tour was starting so I wouldn’t miss it. It was amazing and something I did not expect.
On game day it was just as good. The fans were awesome. I got to drink with some nice folks that day. Everyone was super friendly. You should definitely go and enjoy the game. I would do it again. My first trip to Ann Arbor was great, just wish Michigan won the game.

However, here is a thought. I'm tired of hearing about the SEC and their teams getting a nod from whatever system we are using choose which teams get a shot at the championship.
Michigan lost a close game to Ohio St on the road in 2006. The voters said we can't have a team in the BCS game that didn't win their conference. There would be no rematch when many fans and commentators were calling for it. So, Florida gets the shot. A few years later Alabama and LSU had a rematch for the championship. The game was terrible.
Fast forward to 2016. Michigan loses again to Ohio St in a close game. Michigan also lost to Iowa at night on the road in a close game that season. The committee said they can't make it in with 2 loses. Now in 2021 we have people talking about Alabama possibly making it in with 2 loses and no conference championship. They have struggled all season.
It's actually fun to watch OSU fans attempt to give out directions to the high road. Their moral compass has never worked for as long as I can remember.
They get to hold this L for a year. Their coaches talk shit every year.

The coaching staff did an excellent job today. Now it's off to Indy for a chance to win the Big Ten Championship. I turn 39 next weekend. A Michigan win would be a great birthday present. Let's Fucking Go!!!
It's way too early for rankings. The preseason polls are worthless and obviously they missed the target this season. Some of the higher ranked teams looked REALLY bad.
JH's best coaching was in the NFL and his first 2 years at Michigan. After that, he has been a huge disappointment.
The QB position has been a huge problem for almost a decade. Harbaugh was supposed to be the guy to fix that. Our QB's play like garbage.
The fact that he has not received a contract extension says everything you need to know. There has to be something behind the scenes. Whatever it is, it's time to move on. No more Michigan Man bullshit.
I think he is done after this season. We had the real Harbaugh for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. After that the fire was gone.
QB play has been our biggest area of concern with Harbaugh. I honestly feel like that position has cost us more games than anything else. It should have been our strength. It is not. Patterson does not look good. He hasn't developed a QB since he has been at Michigan.
This season is not going to end well. There is no way this team beats anyone on our schedule that is ranked.
