Thank you Team 143

Listen y’all. This didn’t turn out how we wanted it to. Congrats to TCU. They were the better team today.

Thank you to all the young men from team 143 who represented this university and program in the best manner. Thanks for the win against OSU, the big ten championship, and another trip to the playoff. You have set up this program for future success.

Also, understand that we still are going to kick their ass on November 25, 2023

Thank you, indeed. Beat Ohio State for the 2nd year in a row, won the Big Ten for the for the 2nd year in a row. Despite today not turning out how we all would have liked, still a lot to be positive about.

It was a fun season. I though that Michigan had great chance at a national championship, especially after they drew TCU. I was wrong. This loss really stings, but it was a great season nonetheless.

It sucks how it ended but absolutely a great season that was pretty unexpected.

Next year lines up to have a similar upside so they gotta get back to work.

It was a great ride. They came up short and have difficulty winning that last game. Yes, TCU was the better team because they lasted 60 minutes which is something NONE of our opponents could do this season. Michigan played 60 minutes again today but faced a team that could also go the distance.

Honestly a terrific season. Love the fight that the team showed in the second half. It was ugly, but this team doesn’t have quit in them.

Thanks for everything, 143! Good luck to those moving on in their journeys, and see you next year to everyone else!

Man…amazing year. I’m going to call it a positive we are angry after going 13-1. The program has elevated. This hurts, but not as bad as the cumulative effect of going 9-3 each year and getting hammered by osu.

keep building. It just hurts because osu or GA is going to piledrive tcu.

It was a fantastic year any way you slice it. They played uncharacteristically and unfortunately beat themselves to some degree though obviously credit to TCU for taking advantage. They have nothing to hang their heads about. It’s still great to be a Michigan Wolverine.

I remember clinging to Brandon Minor for a glimmer of hope, UCONN stalling at the goal line, Randy Edsall throwing his headset in glee, a rotund coach stubbornly not wearing one, beating UMASS by 5 pts, watching a QB get brain damage, M00N, the Sam McGuffie youtube video, a game totaling 7000 pts and 14 OT's against the Illini, being a basketball school, a giant macaroni, 2 tickets with a coke, Dat Bull 4 Life, Akron, surviving MSU with field goals, not surviving MSU with a punt, opening the the season ranked #2, ending a season with 3 wins..

Rarely beating Ohio State for most of my adolescence, and not winning them through early adulthood.

I'm so proud of this team. So proud of the program. It's football, man, and the future is so promising. Am I frustrated? Sure, but I'm a damn proud Michigan fan wearing some dope Jordan gear who gets to happily watch parkinggod highlights of recent and not a addidas wearing dweeb watching Wolverine Historian of games when I was 5.

Go Blue and Happy New Year, ladies and gents. It's been a fun year.

Fantastic year.  If u would have asked at beginning of year if this would be a success I am sure most would say yes.

Beat MSU,beat OSU, won BTN Championship.

Regardless of what happens here on out I am happy.  Still a lot of work to do but I support the team.

Unfortunate (if your team is not the one) nature of sports is there is only 1 left standing at the end.  We got to witness two straight years of at least making the playoffs after having not made it the before.  Certainly progress in my eyes!

Go Blue.

Losing a playoff game we should have won hurts.

tOSU (likely) winning a playoff game they probably shouldn't have been in adds to the burn.

Looking past that, the past two years have been incredible. Three or four years ago, James Franklin spoke in a press conference about how he had a "good" team, but they had not ascended to being an "elite" team yet. He swore that Penn State would get there. They have not.

Team 143 did. As an 8 year old in '97 and a high school freshman in '04, this was my first time watching a truly great Michigan team. 143 crossed the bridge Franklin discussed. Despite perforation with injuries through almost all starting groups. this team was elite. I have no doubt that a healthy Blake Corum would have us in the championship.

Just as importantly, they transformed in this game. No Michigan offense I have ever seen has thrown the ball like the one we watched today. With their backs against the wall, they forced it downfield. They looked like tOSU today; unrecognizable from the team that ran the ball over and over against Illinois a month ago--the type of team a young 5-star quarterback or receiver would want to play for.

Thank you to Aiden last year for coming back; to Cade for breaking the spell; to Blake for choosing turkeys over cars, to Ronnie for taking all the misfortune; to Mikey for taking a gamble; to Donovan for his dominant legs and non-dominant hand; to Olu for starting over; to JJ for embracing grind over flash; to Jake for setting the records, and to Coach for betting on himself.

And to 143, for making this a great ride. Let's hope a few of those who could leave choose to stay.

Go Blue.

Excellent and exciting season.  Well done, Wolverines!

Yes, we and team wish the TCU game went the other way.

Still, for me, the season was great.  And the team beating anOSU -- in their home stadium, and by a lot -- is the greatest of all.  Marvelous!
