What Are Your Top 3* Games From The Last 3 Seasons?

*OUTSIDE of the 3 games versus OSU, and the next 2 of this season...

...what are your top 3 games from the past 3 seasons?

(all 3 can be from the same year, you can do 1 per year...doesn't matter, other than OSU games and our next two CFP games this year, put them all in the same bucket, now what are your top 3?)

I actually think the rebirth of hope was like a slow wave that crested at Wisconsin but we still rode up until MSU. Like, WMU made me think we were functional. Washington that we were not terrible. Rutgers made me doubt but then Wisconsin made me think this was a good year a la 2018. MSU made me think it wouldn't be much better.

PSU upped my expectations considerably. And then, OSU made me get to a whole new unexpected level.

You changed the rules before I had a chance to read the OP and claim 2021 OSU as #1.  But regardless of your opinion, I will not change my answer.

#1A (following your 'rules') is this years PSU game.  So many distractions, so much ridiculous bullshit, so many lies.  Fuck'em all.  Run it straight down their motherfuckin' throats 32 straight times.

No signs needed - just try to stop it, bitch.  Because I have NO respect for your offense.

PSU road games - the last two.

Cade hitting All to win that game was critical; otherwise OSU wouldn't have mattered in the same way.

Corum and co. rushing to victory in the first real test since the BS suspension is the stuff of legends.

Really...'22 over Purdue tops '21 Iowa for you, interesting.

I think tears came down my face after that first one, that was so special.

The problem that I've struggled with the past two years are the expectations of winning take a liiiiittle bit out of it. It's hard to enjoy.

For example, if we played that '21 Nebraska game this year, everyone one would've panicked and it would've been horrible, "lucky," etc.

In '21 it's was like we were playing with house money.

I thought this was asking what games were our favorite 3 star games from the last three years. I was like uh, Nebraska 2022 was probably like 3 stars. Indiana 2021 maybe? Northwestern 2021? ECU 2023?

1. Iowa 2021, it was the culmination of a very long wait to finally win a division and go to Indianapolis.

2. Penn State 2022, Michigan dominated the trenches and it was apparent to all that 2021 was not a fluke.

3. Penn State 2023, emotions of suspension to go on the road and against an elite defense (especially against the run) go right at their strength and pull out a win.

Not including OSU...

Neb 21 when they won in a tough environment with adversity.

Iowa 22 another house of horrors for Michigan and they took care of business.

MSU 23 something about completely punking them and shutting them out in "woodshed"

1. 2021 Big Ten Championship Game vs Iowa: this was the culmination of everything we had been craving for years  For so long it seemed unattainable to make the CFP and there it was 60 minutes away. The BPONE hit me hard before the game and I expected it so be a very difficult game and instead we just smoked them

2. 2023 at Penn State:  Obviously just super emotional with it being at the peak of sign gate and our anger was maxed out.  Add to that hearing all year that we’ve played no one and this being our first test of the year in a hostile environment.  Wasn’t the prettiest game but it felt sooo good to win

3. 2021 at Wisconsin:  When I think many of us started to suspect that maybe this team was different.  Old Michigan comes to Madison and leaves sad.  New Michigan participates in Jump Around with the opposing fans while we are blowing them out.

HM: 2021 at Nebraska, 2021 at Penn State, 2022 at Iowa, 2022 vs Penn State, the other 2 B1G CGs.

PS: Shame on Sparty for being dominated so thoroughly the last 2 seasons that I can’t even list an MSU game on here.

PSU 2021

After OSU what is better than beating StAEE?

PSU 2021 was when I realized our ream was really good.

2021 Western Michigan, first game after my dad passed, he was the one who got me to love Michigan. I remember being in the stands with my best friend saying I don’t know if we will be any good but this is special to me. Since I can’t take OSU I’ll say 2021 PSU, and this year MS. HM maryland, I really wanted 1000

Edit: Iowa Purdue Iowa, trophy games mean more, getting over the OSU bump didn’t mean rings until we finished the conference gsmes

Absolutely wanted and cared about winning the Illinois game in the moment but I never felt like our entire season was on the line with that game. It would have definitely taken some luster off the season and we can’t assume Michigan recovers to beat Ohio State with we lose that game, just that in the moment I knew even if we lost all our goals were still in front of us, which made it slightly less nerve wracking to watch.

1) M - ND 2019 -- "They have to live with this shit for 13 years" -- guy behind me in the stands

2) M - PSU 2021 -- big win on the road, changed the narrative

3) M - TCU 2022 -- take nothing for granted; next man up; any given "Saturday"; learn from your failures

This year's MSU, Purdue, and Penn State. Because MSU thought that there was a chance of physical harm..... Purdue, because "we know they were at our games"..... And Penn State because I really just don't like James Franklin.
