And, as is tradition for the first post of the year — let's restate the obvious:

That being said, I am always looking to "make the annual spam less spam-y" and do a variety of bonus features alongside the post itself to keep things interesting (in addition to rotating the featured players themselves). These have included specific themes for some years of daily videos, the t-shirt countdown, a look back at the history of MGoBlog’s “The Story," and most recently — a glimpse into the history of Michigan Football ticket stubs. 

Plenty more of that to come this year!

Been patiently waiting for this day/post the past month!  Let the official countdown commence!

Minor quibble (as I'm already in HOURS countdown mode once 2,500 hit, 2,377.5 and counting...) 

Kickoff Saturday is September 3.  September 4 is still 100 days away, the last non-NFL Sunday. I know this as last year I was front-row 30-yard line on September 4 against Western, and near midfield on September 11th for the 20th anniversary, and there are 52 weeks and 1 day in non-leapyears, so the 3rd for this year...

I can't wait to see Ronnie Bell, along with the other wideouts and TEs, making plays. Definitely our best WR room since Breaston, Arrington, Super Mario, Carl Tabb and Greg Mathews. Both QBs will feast on play action.

Do season ticket holders have their tickets already?  I'm seeing tickets available on stubhub, etc, already but want to be sure they're valid before I buy. 

PS - looking to find 4 decent tix to the Hawaii game on 9/10 if anyone is looking to sell.  (I know, there's a sticky thread for that, but no mention of 2022 tix yet.)
