Ace, you are such an inspiration for what you've done at MGoBlog, and for I'm sure what you will continue to do afterward. You and your writing will be sorely missed on this blog, and wishing you the best.

Thanks Ace. The sensible voice of reason on every podcast and definitely my favourite MGoWriter. Gifted in analysis and with an ability to make the Recruiting Roundup rather hilarious. Few of us achieve excellence in our jobs Ace but you got there. I hope once you can get through your recovery journey that you have the same success regardless of endeavour.

Thank you.

Heartfelt thanks to Ace for all the good words, artfully arranged.  I very much enjoyed his writing here, and will miss it.  But it sounds like he has a greater, more important calling.  Here's to his attacking it with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind.

Damn. Your contributions to the blog have been and will be missed. Whenever I write a diary I strive to mimic the voice that the blog staff has forged over the years and you are one of the pillars upon which that standard rises. We look forward to seeing you resume the mantle of Michigan excellence in your next endeavor.

Thank you for your endless and conscientious hard work.  While we're all saddened that your health has forced this chapter of your life to come to a close, I think I speak for all of us in our certainty that someday, some way, you'll move on to even bigger and better things than Michigan sports (if indeed they exist)

Ace, Thank you for everything you've done here for us. It's been great reading your contributions here and hearing your takes on the podcast.

Take care of yourself and get well. Family, friends, and good health are the most important things.

Good luck on your journey. I hope to see you here again after you've kick CFS's ass.

I remember vividly when Tom VH left and Brian posted the job opening. I was a bit skeptical when he hired a dude named Ace. “No way this guy is going to be legit.” How wrong I was.

Ace, your gif game was spectacular, but I’m going to miss your basketball writing the most, as well as your banter with Brian on the podcast. I hope you find answers and full healing. All the best.

Been reading this blog before Ace came on board and believed he was a great addition.  Your wit and contributions will be missed on a regular here but I hope you will find greater fulfillment in your next endeavor.

Good luck!

Some dirtbag named Henry Jacob said some vile shit akin to "hopefully you're dying in a hospital" to Ace on his video. Not sure if anyone on here knows who that is but wish him a big "go fuck yourself" from yours truly. If anyone knows the guy I'd love to provide a free ass-kicking.

Good luck to you Ace.  I have been dealing with health issues of my own and your courage and positive outlook are inspiring.  Instead of wallowing in self pity, you're focused on.......using your talents to help others.

Bravo to you and thanks for the inspiration with my own battle.

Much gratitude to you Ace, for what you have brought to us, as readers and as humans, for your perspectives and your knowledge, for your skill and spirit, much more good wishes to you as you take some time to regain your health.  Keep those Vitamin D levels up.  For now, take care of yourself, when you're ready to revisit your cyber audience, we will be jumping up and down cheering for you!

Hang in there, young man.  I've had that condition for 30 years, now, and at my age have no expectation of recovery.  But you have time on your side.  I hope you're one of the folks whose condition will improve.  Even if it doesn't, it's still possible to enjoy life.  Make sure you appreciate the difference between accepting your limitations (if, in time, that becomes necessary) and giving up on the effort to mitigate the symptoms.  Bon courage.

Ace! Thanks for all of your many contributions to the blog and our collective fandom, especially given the circumstances under which you contributed to them. This cause needs another voice, and I can't think of a better one to bring it to light with wit, gravitas, and eloquence. Wishing you all the best in health, life and all things. You will be missed.

Thank you Ace for all of your contributions to MGoBlog.  I came on here during a dark time in my life when my wife was sick with cancer and this place gave me a relief.  Wish you the best.  Hope you get all the rest and medical help you need.  Enjoy being a fan!
