Stupid play call on 3rd down. The 3rd down play before the earlier goalline denial was moronic. Zenner lead blocking FB goes to the edge right of TE as Washington gets smashed by 2 LBs in the A gap. Who the hell runs that? The Leo's.

why do i ever ever ever watch this team. they are, and have always been, a frustrating, awful team to cheer for. all you are ever left w/ is a punch in the gut and a "what could have been" thougt. ugh!

Been watching the Lions since the late 80s. They’ve never had an offensive line that could get a yard or 2 consistently. It’s so frustrating. They have to get stronger inside. They can’t keep getting caved. Talk will be about coaching but I think when you can’t run for a yard, you’re forced to run stupid plays. There’s not a ton you can do on the goal line when the defense is not going to sell out on the run and keeps everyone back in coverage yet stops you running the ball anyways. Really don’t think this is as much a coaching issue as a run blocking issue.

They are a losing cullture, and not worth any emotiona sports capital in my opinion.

My sports life has been much improved since I stopped following them, about 1983.  I am a Cardinals fan since AZ, but they have issues to correct befoe they can move forward again. In the meantime, I can root for players that I like, sometimes their teams. 

Freeing not being tied to the Lions.

LOL this team is not going to make the playoffs. What ever happen to the stipulation that Caldwell had to win a playoff game to get a contract extension. Well he got his contract extension at the beginning of the season so now he can go 6-10 and we are stuck with a worthless coach for 5 years. A typical Lion's management move.
