MGoBrethren this is your one stop shop for all things Signing Day related. Are Lugard and Gatlin Bair coming’? Will we have some surprise flips? Alll schadenfruede from Ohio potentially losing another recruit to Miami, Jeremiah Smith, is welcome here.

I 100% disagree. They have repeatedly attacked our players before and after games. They have repeatedly tried to injure our players during games. The program is fine with that behavior.

It's my opinion that we shouldn't play them for a very long time, or if we are going to play them -- and of course we are -- that every year should be like 2023. Absolute soul-crushing, demoralizing defeat. It's what they deserve for having a culture like that.

It burns me that they seem to have a decent coach now and might be improving.

Interesting that they're right behind Washington, per Rivals. The two programs couldn't be coming off more disparate years, or seem to be on more opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of program stability, and you would figure UW would get a Big 10 recruiting boost (maybe not this year, though). Go figure. Sometimes recruiting is hard to understand.

I coach at Francis Howell which is around 15 minutes away from CBC. We lost to them in the district championship by one point. He's a solid athlete but I lost a lot of respect for that school that day. After we failed to convert on 4th down some of their players rushed the field and went straight to our stands and started talking shit.

This is a team that's won two state championships in a row at the highest level in Missouri and steamrolls teams all the time. This year in the state championship it was clear they were not going to win with 4 minutes left in the game and CBC's coach called it and walked off the field. Coward

Fun Fact. Sears, as a strore chain, still exists in Mexico and doing relatively well.

It is owned by business tycoon, Carlos Slim.

The business relaitonship between Sears and the Mexican retail store chain stems from a contract that allows them to use their brand. In 2024 their contract expires.  It is fairly possible they will consider renaming the stores and therefore Sears will also become extinct in Mexico.

I believe that Office Depot de Mexico and Radio Shack operate in the same manner.

I like the approach, specifically in this new era of NIL.  Bring in large classes of high upside players and hit the portal for established starters that already took the bag as recruits, but have proven worthy of NIL as transfers.
