Schedule Update: Buffalo to open 2027

Submitted by jimmyshi03 on December 7th, 2023 at 2:06 PM

Official site announced a couple of hours ago. This will make 2/3 of the non conference schedule spoken for, as the return date for the Texas game was switched to 2027 in Austin. B1G schedule includes four home games (OSU, Illinois, Oregon, Rutgers) and five road (IU, Iowa, MSU, PSU, UCLA). Presumably the remaining game would be at home. Would love if we could help the Pac-2 out.

Given the difficult league schedule and the trip to Texas, I'd very much expect the other non-conference game to be a bodybag at home.

1st and only time Michigan has played Buffalo since their 1901 match-up.

Michigan won that one, 128-0.

I'll predict now that Buffalo improves upon that performance.

Where's he from?

Where are you from? Buffalo.

I've never even been to Buffalo.

Maybe it's a mistake.

Is this like the time you said my parents were dead?

I swear, he's right here.

Who knows!

I really hope that Michigan includes strong contingency language in all football agreements.

The B10 agreement should be amended to include:

If the B10 works actively against Michigan or punishes Michigan in a way that is not within the B10 rules then Michigan's share of TV revenues for the remainder of the years that Michigan is in the B10 is increased to the percentage of total viewership that Michigan games receive.

If I had my way, I'd shuffle off to Buffalo
Sit by the lake, and watch the world go by
Ladies in the sun, listenin' to the radio
Like flowers on the sand, the rainbow in my mind
