Another thing: this was the first game that was truly fun to watch this year imo, thanks to a fun and effective offense. I forgot how boring having a bad offense is to watch.

Too many injuries is the negative here.  Peters was fine.  He made the throws he had to (and missed one late).  But that's all we need because it increasingly seems like we might have a mauling run game if we can keep the safeties even a little bit honest.  Great work by the OL today.  Rutgers isn't good at run defense, but they're no longer absolutely atrocious and we still got 300 yards.

Hopefully Peters can improve a bit over the next two weeks and gives us a shot against Wisconsin and OSU.

Good to win and Peters looked good 10/14 for 164 yards and a td. But im not gonna get excited over it because we played Rutgers. We'll see what happens when we cant run the football and Peters has to carry the team on his arm.

Really would have liked to see him hit the tight end who was wide open in the end there. He was backed up by a great running game. I think it would be wise to keep him in there for the remainder of the year. great solid win over our "Rivals" lol

Walker looked good for the time he was out there. Good vision and some nice moves. Peters didn't do anything fancy, but it's nice to see a QB make the easy throws. He took every bit of what the defense gave him, made no mistakes, and even made a couple nice plays out of the pocket. Good stuff.

Offense had a pulse. They looked crisp once Peters entered the game. Nice part is a lot of youth played today. Future is bright but we will still have growing pains.
