This is what I want to know.  These little drips are nice, but clearly not enough to turn the narrative toward OSU/et al.  None of this has even registered with most of the same media outlets who have been dragging M through the mud the last few weeks.  Until some bombs are dropped that are big enough to cause a widespread shift in narrative, nothing changes.

Time to empty both barrels.

Why these redactions?  Did Michigan change some of these, but not the redacted ones?  Did they redact randomly to try to throw off the other teams who are still using these sheets?

BTW, the teams Michigan played in 2020:

Minnesota
MSU
Indiana
Wisconsin
Rutgers
PSU

So, presumably at least one of those teams is implicated.

OK did Connor Stalions come up with anything in better detail than this? Because if all this scandal started but Stalions was less effective than others spying on Michigan, WTF are we doing here??

Connor Stallions gets signs from an iphone video from a college kid: death penalty

Big Ten schools give other Big Ten schools Michigans decoded signs: alls good

Connor very likely broke rules, but anyone pretending like the two scenarios above are drastically different is kidding themselves.

The goalposts have now moved from "Michigan had a huge competitive advantage and was risking player safety" to "Yeah, but what Michigan did is technically illegal and they should still be punished for it despite the fact that everyone else was colluding and knew Michigan's signs"

Yeah, though I think multiple teams colluding is still worse than a guy just trying to help his own team. It’s supposed to be a competition between 14 independent teams. If multiple teams start working together then they are giving themselves advantages contrary to the design of the league.

What a counter offensive we are currently on, I can't wait for the dinner time drop of more dirt. For the first time in weeks my aOSU in-laws didn't run their mouths when we went over for dinner last night.

I don't think the NCAA should care when it comes to determining if there was an infraction.  I expect they will say there was.  But they should care when determining if it's Level 1 or level 2.  To be level 1, the competitive advantage would have to be "substantial" where as Level 2 is "no more than a minimal" advantage.  Admittedly, there is a big gap between those two standards, so who knows what the NCAA does, but I think we're at most in Level 2 now.

The Big Ten should absolutely care. They don't have bylaws on in-person scouting and are banging the "unsportsmanlike" drum.  Collusion absolutely falls into that bucket.

You know what? At this point, I'd be ok with a Level II violation like the one the Baylor coach got given to Harbaugh. Not because I agree with it, but because of the level of showmanship that would come with it. Think about it, have Harbaugh suspended for the first half of the OSU game, then having him come out of the tunnel after halftime solo to his own theme song, WWE style. (BAH GOD, IS THAT JIM HARBAUGH'S THEME?!) I think the crowd would go ballistic.

Collusion between peers to undermine one particular team seems much more against general sportsmanship etiquette than one lone staffer skipping around in gray areas trying to gain a competitive advantage. Especially when the “competitive advantage” is essentially nil because the end result, knowing your opponent’s signs, is the same.

I would point out, as well, that coaches poring over data to determine a “cheat sheet” for signs also seems waaay more effective in knowing signs than some guy trying to do it all on his own without the years of football experience the opponent’s coaches have. I’d imagine Stalions “cheat sheet”, unless he is a football savant, is much less detailed.

And of course, there is zero coverage on any of this on ESPN. Instead, the front and center hit piece by Finebaum. The end of these assholes will go to improve the chance of another SEC team in the playoffs.

How long can buckeye and spartan slappies keep this "holier than thou" charade up after this? Glancing at this tweet, i see many responses from buckeyes pointing out how "this isn't even illegal!!" Which would be the exact point we have all been trying to make. This is absolutely ridiculous. It is the same information. The same competitive advantage. Who gives a shit how the info was gathered. no one should

This is like a cyber criminal who steals people's identities pointing fingers at the other thief who commits car jacking because it is in person. laughable.

So let me get this straight. If CS uses a phone to steal signs, Michigan is cheating and endangering Sparty players. However, if B1G schools collude to steal and share Michigan signs it is perfectly legal and safe? Makes sense.
