For the first time I can ever think (ND aside) I was happy for a Texas win. Strong kicked off players that a lot of coaches probably would have allowed to stay. Only 11 wins, but I think he is the answer for that program.

Happy for Coach Strong. The Buechele kid could pass for a h.s. sophomore but he is a cool customer. Swoopes tho... this game just has so many things you don't get from the NFL. QBs truckin' dudes. A whole stadium singing with the marching band. Notre Dame losing. This game is just so much better than what we normally get on Sundays.

I still just do not get people who say the NFL is far superior to college. The NFL is a boring, corporate, ad induced, mechanized robot league. The defenses are good to a point where there's probably less than 10 'good' QBs in the whole league

College has this insanity plus fight songs, marching bands, student sections, and guys who are there to play for their colors (not hired mercenaries). This game is why I can sit and watch college football alllll day long for 13 straight Saturdays
