This happens at all programs, I know, and even here quite recently. But I honestly can't remember an ex-MSU, ex-Izzo player coming out against the school this publicly and vehemently.

I, for one, am very disappointed to learn that MSU treats its student-athletes like soothing ointments used to heal cracked or damaged skin.

You put the balm on? Who told you to put the balm on? I didn't tell you

to put the balm on. Why'd you put the balm on? You haven't even been to see the

doctor. If your gonna put a balm on, let a doctor put a balm on.

You say it happens everywhere, but does it happen at Michigan?  I've seen many former players employed or working in fields that likely came from Michigan connections.  Places like Alro Steel, Fingerle Lumber, or Related Companies.  I'm sure some don't get the help they expect, but outside of some bellyaching during the Brandon years I've felt that Michigan does a good job taking care of former players.

More importantly, anything indicating that he's capable of performing the duties of one of those job things?

I'm sure there are plenty of ex-MSU athletes employed by MSU alums or that found work through connections.

And there are probably disgruntled UofM athletes (and even students!) that have had a hard time in the work force.
