Have to say that the hype around Allar is just that - hype, without any substance. No time to throw, and when he does get a minute, the throws are wildly off target. That 2nd down throw was a TD if JJ is throwing it, but Allar put it unquestionably uncatchable over heads.
Should stick with the runs, OSU seems pretty soft up the middle - susceptible to duo!

The one difference is I think OSU's D-line is stronger up the middle than it was last year. But that relative improvement doesn't compensate for what they lost with Stroud.

PSU’s defense is really good. Particularly on the road they will be a real test.
(As I type this McCord has an open receiver and a slightly inaccurate pass downfield allows the DB to recover. But the DB is good enough to recover).

Yeah, McCord and Allar sure feel like the same guy. With Allar you've got a 2nd-year guy so I'll give him more of a pass than McCord, who's been in college as long as McCarthy and was ranked higher.
