Noon games, feature game Oklahoma at Texas
This should be the good one, Oklahoma is favored:
But Texas is quickly improving. Steve Sarkisian hired a very good staff of coaches. Has his DC Pete Kwiatkowski done enough in the first 5 games to be ready for Oklahoma's offense? In previous years I'd give an automatic no. But Oklahoma is not like they've been in recent years. They are vulnerable. I mean, they struggled with Nebraska and and worse with West Virginia. Oklahoma fans have been clamoring for QB Spencer Rattler to be replaced. By Oklahoma standards he has been underwhelming. Texas' offense is starting to look exciting. And the game is at Texas. They just might pull it off.
Noon also has State at Rutgers, and Maryland at Ohio St. State has a bad defense, so Rutgers might give it a run, or I'm hoping they do. I have zero hope in Maryland. I never believed the hype to begin with. They had that exciting 20-17 win over Illinois. How could I not have gotten on that hype train before the Ohio St game!
Arkansas at Ole Miss, South Carolina at Tennessee, West Virginia at Baylor, and Northern Illinois at Toledo might be fairly good games. QB Hendon Hooker at Tennessee is turning out to be pretty decent. The offense moves, and scores, with him in.

Big break for Rutgers
October 9th, 2021 at 1:08 PM ^
I thought bringing in the backup QB there was going to burn Lincoln. That’s why he’s a major coach I guess.
Also Big 12 defense.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:09 PM ^
Rutgers is still a bad football team. I think we overlooked them and were looking too much ahead for the Wiscy game.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:10 PM ^
Sparty got away with some defensive holding there
October 9th, 2021 at 1:10 PM ^
Sparty has been hit with some borderline penalties but that one absolutely was PI and they didn’t call it. Hooray B1G officiating.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:10 PM ^
As someone who hates pass interference calls ..... that was pass interference
October 9th, 2021 at 1:12 PM ^
It would have been if the throw was catchable.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:10 PM ^
Ah, crap. Really wanted a Rutger TD there. FG it is. Still, that's 3 free points.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:11 PM ^
Lombardi and NIU rolling...
October 9th, 2021 at 1:11 PM ^
Oklahoma freshman QB comes in place of Rattler, gets TD. Got us a QB controversy in Oklahoma!
Oklahoma fans must be saying Told ya so.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:16 PM ^
They have been calling for Rattlers backup in previous games. That play was a specific play for williams at QB. Just like bringing in JJ for running plays in Michigan games .
Rattler will be back in .
October 9th, 2021 at 1:19 PM ^
I know, but it doesn't help Rattler.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:11 PM ^
Pretty nice drive for the Terps here...c'mon now, finish it with a TD for a change.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:12 PM ^
And this is why you always play the talented QB who can run. Rattler is not going to last the season.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:15 PM ^
Sparty just might as well throw deep every play. Rutger can’t stop it. They can start by double covering Nailor
October 9th, 2021 at 1:15 PM ^
Rutgers corners are very, very bad.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:15 PM ^
Flea flicker
October 9th, 2021 at 1:15 PM ^
Terps TD!
(Yeah, I know they're not gonna win)
Still, a damn nice drive there.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:16 PM ^
Memo to Schiano: one guy is beating your team. Stop letting him get behind your defense.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:16 PM ^
I think their first flea flicker did legitimately open up the TD pass, but at this point it's just been their receivers torching guys.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:17 PM ^
Damnit Rutger!!! Quit Rutgering!!!
October 9th, 2021 at 1:17 PM ^
The stats for Thorne & Nailor so far...holy shit.
Nailor is only averaging 52 yards/reception.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:22 PM ^
He has 3 TD for over 60 yards. Wow.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:19 PM ^
This OU Texas game might actually end 64-60
October 9th, 2021 at 1:21 PM ^
Seems like defese is optional.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:20 PM ^
Rattler is very wild.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:21 PM ^
We probably should have aired it out a *tad* more vs. Rutgers, guys. Whattya think? Sheesh.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:32 PM ^
Why? We won the game. You don’t get an extra trophy for winning by more points.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:43 PM ^
Point being, the Rutgers pass defense is ass. The game didn't need to be a nailbiter. Rutgers had the ball on their final drive with a chance to tie. Call me crazy, but I'd rather not have games come down to that, if we can help it.
Your point is well-taken, though. I'll always take the W.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:21 PM ^
Yeah, Rattler just isn't that good. But OU is making it interesting UT 28 - OU 17.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:21 PM ^
Bad throw by Rattler, way short of the target, should have been picked. DB does his punishment push ups. lol
October 9th, 2021 at 1:21 PM ^
Walker for MSU has good burst when he hits the hole for a 210 lb man.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:23 PM ^
State, really, can run the ball.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:21 PM ^
Ohio St and MSU are showing exactly what we should have done to Rutgers on offense. They can be thrown on all day long. It’ll open up the run game as it goes on.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:22 PM ^
RU is incapable of slowing down MSU. The WTF factor from the 2nd half of the UM-RU game remains thru the roof.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:26 PM ^
MSU had zero 1st down against NEB in the second half. So, not sure what happened to them against NEB. Stuff happens. I am hoping for Cade to be as good as he was against Wisconsin
October 9th, 2021 at 1:23 PM ^
How does MSU's QB look vs. Rutgers? How does their offense look overall ?
October 9th, 2021 at 1:24 PM ^
MSU can score at will.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:24 PM ^
Too close to OSUs offense for comfort.
At least MSUs defense sort of sucks.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:25 PM ^
He’s on a pace to throw for 600 yards. That’s all
October 9th, 2021 at 1:25 PM ^
Thorne (MSU QB) looks like Tom Brady.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:24 PM ^
That crowd shot was sooooo Jersey.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:25 PM ^
Stroud certainly isn't broken any more. And Thorne certainly looks legit (and is gonna air it out all day long on October 30).
This is what I'm worried about with our team the most. Can we win a shootout, if necessary? Can we score points quickly through the air when we are trailing? Being two WRs down doesn't help the cause, for sure. But we're gonna have to take some of that pressure off of the defense.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:29 PM ^
We’re not sure about Wilson. Brown said that Bowman was going to start against WMU.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:30 PM ^
Did he really say that? LOL. What a clown.
Is the ONLY source of Roman Wilson-related news coming from BB so far, by the way? Nobody else has any reports?
October 9th, 2021 at 1:31 PM ^
To be fair somebody on the blog said Brown tweeted him that. At any rate even Brown was saying this would be three weeks thing not season ender.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:30 PM ^
Stroud sucks when under pressure
October 9th, 2021 at 2:27 PM ^
??when under pressure…really?
4 touchdowns…320+ yards just into 3rd qtr. Must not be under pressure much
October 9th, 2021 at 1:29 PM ^
That was a mess by MSU.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:29 PM ^
LOL Sparty No at the end of the half. Mel Tucker sucks ass
