Noon games, feature game Oklahoma at Texas

This should be the good one, Oklahoma is favored:

But Texas is quickly improving. Steve Sarkisian hired a very good staff of coaches. Has his DC Pete Kwiatkowski done enough in the first 5 games to be ready for Oklahoma's offense? In previous years I'd give an automatic no. But Oklahoma is not like they've been in recent years. They are vulnerable. I mean, they struggled with Nebraska and and worse with West Virginia. Oklahoma fans have been clamoring for QB Spencer Rattler to be replaced. By Oklahoma standards he has been underwhelming. Texas' offense is starting to look exciting. And the game is at Texas. They just might pull it off.

Noon also has State at Rutgers, and Maryland at Ohio St. State has a bad defense, so Rutgers might give it a run, or I'm hoping they do. I have zero hope in Maryland. I never believed the hype to begin with. They had that exciting 20-17 win over Illinois. How could I not have gotten on that hype train before the Ohio St game!

Arkansas at Ole Miss, South Carolina at Tennessee, West Virginia at Baylor, and Northern Illinois at Toledo might be fairly good games. QB Hendon Hooker at Tennessee is turning out to be pretty decent. The offense moves, and scores, with him in.

Wtf. Why MSU offense this good? And how the F can MSU find good QBs so fast. Michigan wading through shitty QBs and even their crap QB in Lombardi torched Michigan.

I hate MSU.

You should probably save it and have one grand conniption tonight when all the results are in. Otherwise, it'll be like you suffered a whole long series of transient ischemic attacks and you'll be down for days. No use to anyone.

Plus you'll just meld in with the rest of the whiny biotches here over the next seven-eight hours and hardly elicit notice.

Save it, save it I say for one grand head 'asplosion!

Rattler fumblers. Oklahoma fans must be out of their minds furious about him right about now. You ever scream at your tv?

I mean, Michigan was a 3 touchdown favorite in Vegas before kickoff last year. Going into that game Michigan had trounced a ranked (at the time) Minnesota team and MSU had just lost to Rutgers.

The season certainly didn’t play out that way, but Michigan was absolutely the favorite in that game and it was by any measure an upset win for Sparty

Are Vegas spreads really a prediction of which team is "better?" I am ignorant on this topic, for sure, but I was under the impression that the spread is less "which team is better and by how much," and more "which team is getting the money bets" or "how does Vegas want to incentivize money bets coming in." I'm sure more here know MUCH more than I do about that, however.

When the 2020 season's "dust" finally settled, I don't view that as an upset; MSU was simply a better team in 2020. The overstated perception of how good Michigan was/looked after beating a depleted (covid + NFL draft) Minnesota team, and how bad MSU looked after the self-infliction the week before against Rutgers in the form of 7 (!) TOs, can't be denied IMO. Just my thoughts. I welcome yours/everyone else's.

MSU is blowing out Rutgers. Thorne to Nailor now on 3 big TD Passes. A 3rd consec loss awaits Rutgers. They looked good early on in the game but so much for that.

A big loss for Oklahoma? Texas also up big.
