Noon games, feature game Oklahoma at Texas
This should be the good one, Oklahoma is favored:
But Texas is quickly improving. Steve Sarkisian hired a very good staff of coaches. Has his DC Pete Kwiatkowski done enough in the first 5 games to be ready for Oklahoma's offense? In previous years I'd give an automatic no. But Oklahoma is not like they've been in recent years. They are vulnerable. I mean, they struggled with Nebraska and and worse with West Virginia. Oklahoma fans have been clamoring for QB Spencer Rattler to be replaced. By Oklahoma standards he has been underwhelming. Texas' offense is starting to look exciting. And the game is at Texas. They just might pull it off.
Noon also has State at Rutgers, and Maryland at Ohio St. State has a bad defense, so Rutgers might give it a run, or I'm hoping they do. I have zero hope in Maryland. I never believed the hype to begin with. They had that exciting 20-17 win over Illinois. How could I not have gotten on that hype train before the Ohio St game!
Arkansas at Ole Miss, South Carolina at Tennessee, West Virginia at Baylor, and Northern Illinois at Toledo might be fairly good games. QB Hendon Hooker at Tennessee is turning out to be pretty decent. The offense moves, and scores, with him in.

Tennessee dominating. Hooker already has 92 yds and 2 TDs
October 9th, 2021 at 12:38 PM ^
Wow! Incredible stupidity by MSU coach. Instead of going for it on 4th at 3 at Rutgers 35, they take a delay of game then punt the ball out of the end zone.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:41 PM ^
C'mon, Rutgers...don't fade.
I hope Maryland enjoyed their lead today, by the way. It didn't last long -- but hey, they led.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:44 PM ^
Big 12 officiating makes Big Ten officials look... semi-competent.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:44 PM ^
Spencer is rattled.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:46 PM ^
Who is Spencer?
October 9th, 2021 at 12:56 PM ^
The rattled Qb for Oklahoma, clearly. He's definitely Spencered.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:45 PM ^
Refs getting flag happy in Spartans-RU game.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:46 PM ^
MSU playing dirty
October 9th, 2021 at 12:46 PM ^
Rattler rattled. Stae having trouble with Rutger.
Maybe Nebraska's moral victory losses were just losses.
Cautiously expecting good things tonight.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:47 PM ^
Not sure who was more over-rated this year, Clemson or Oklahoma.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:47 PM ^
Cool catch by #6 of Texas for TD.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:49 PM ^
Tenn QB, 164 yds, 3 TDs in the 1st qtr.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:51 PM ^
Who is this TN QB you mentioned? Or who is he not?
October 9th, 2021 at 12:51 PM ^
Is Joe Milton injured? Or was he surpassed by Hooker?
October 9th, 2021 at 12:55 PM ^
He was injured in the third game IIRC, not sure if he’s still hurt.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:11 PM ^
Well, if Milton wasn't benched before he is now since Hooker is balling (no pun intended).
October 9th, 2021 at 1:03 PM ^
Milton was injured against Pitt but at this point I'd say he's been straight up surpassed by Hooker -- 13 TDs to 1 INT since entering mid-game vs. Pitt.
Milton went 2/8 against Florida two games ago in what I assume was mop-up duty. I doubt he starts another game in Knoxville unless there are multiple injuries. He's just a bad quarterback.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:17 PM ^
He had a minor leg injury. He can play now. He came in last week in clean up time, and had 2 runs for like 49 yards. He is 2nd string now. Hooker is the starter.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:22 PM ^
Yes, I am aware that Hooker is the starter. Milton won't get any further starts at Tennessee unless Hooker is injured, and even then if I were Heupel I'd skip right over Joe.

If UT takes OU behind the woodshed, that may shed some light on that “heroic” Nebraska loss to the Sooners. OU may simply not be that good.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:09 PM ^
OU has zero wins by more than seven points against FBS opponents:
- vs. Tulane (40-35)
- vs. Nebraska (23-16)
- vs. West Virginia (16-13)
- at Kansas State (37-31)
They aren't good.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:51 PM ^
ST seems to be dominating games-- OK-Texas, Sparty-RU. Glad M focuses on that.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:52 PM ^
I don’t get the Rattler NFL draft hype at all.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:54 PM ^
I know it does matter but I hope Texas destroys OU.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:55 PM ^
The old Rutger showed up on that MSU TD pass. Not good
October 9th, 2021 at 12:56 PM ^
Our win against RU is not looking impressive.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:57 PM ^
Rutgers looking okay so far
October 9th, 2021 at 12:58 PM ^
We led that game 20-3 at halftime and pretty much checked out and started thinking about Wisconsin. It happens.
Rutgers isn’t out of this game though.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:59 PM ^
Why is that? They are down 14-10. Michigan had them down 20-3 at halftime and basically shut down their give a shit the second half. Could’ve been that game against Wisconsin coming up where we hadn’t won in 20 years possibly.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:07 PM ^
RU defense looks porous.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:00 PM ^
Can any win against RU ever be "impressive?"
October 9th, 2021 at 1:00 PM ^
Different game different day. Big plays were there in that game. We will see what happens tonight.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:57 PM ^
Nailor WR for MSU can really fly
October 9th, 2021 at 12:57 PM ^
Oklahoma playing with fire all season.
About to get burned.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:57 PM ^
Wow! OK getting blown out.
October 9th, 2021 at 12:59 PM ^
I’ve got a bad feeling msu is going to curb stomp us. Great balance on offense
October 9th, 2021 at 1:00 PM ^
I don't know about curb stomp. I think it will be an unusually high scoring game, but their passing game looks pretty good, will be a difficult game to win
October 9th, 2021 at 1:07 PM ^
Probably right. Their qb is pretty good, their WR’s are fast, and their back is good. Pretty impressed with their offense, better than I thought
October 9th, 2021 at 1:04 PM ^
That’s a very hot take. I’m not buying Sparty quite yet as world beaters
October 9th, 2021 at 12:59 PM ^
Oklahoma in the process of being exposed? Again.
Looks like Rutgers is going to give Sparty a game. Go, Scarlet Knights!
Arkansas looking pretty solid against Mississippi.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:04 PM ^
Oklahoma has been barely hanging on all year so far. This is an example of why I’m not exactly sure how good Nebraska really is.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:00 PM ^
Texas looks like they're going to go for 100.
I encourage this.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:07 PM ^
Same.
Oklahoma is being exposed today via a long-overdue L -- FINALLY! -- just as ND was exposed last week with one.
We kinda all knew this was coming for OU, just as we all knew it was coming for ND.
October 9th, 2021 at 1:07 PM ^
Sparty nooooo!
October 9th, 2021 at 1:07 PM ^
Big turnover. Rutger has the ball
October 9th, 2021 at 1:08 PM ^
Thorne with a classic Sparty No moment
October 9th, 2021 at 1:08 PM ^
Sparty, nooooo!
October 9th, 2021 at 1:08 PM ^
Sparty No
October 9th, 2021 at 1:08 PM ^
Sparty No
