Miles Bridges (paraphrased): "It's tough losing to a school that isn't tough"

Michigan State's Miles Bridges on losing to Michigan: "We just gotta get tougher. It's pretty simple. Teams are out-toughing us. ...That's tough, especially to a school like that, that don't even focus on [being tough]."

UM got after it today. several guys diving for loose balls. even DRob made a couple hustle plays; the first of his career.  he even got 3 rebounds in limited action. as many have said for several weeks, he is likely a much better player off the bench.  he can play harder on D and not worry about fouls.

it's facts like those that the eye test slappies don't see.  they love the bridges, jackson of even shilling dunks, but msu got schooled big time on both ends of the court today with "pretty" well-coached basketball.  very fun to watch.

had a few more of those running layups fell, the game would have been over much earlier.

this is exactly why coaching acumen can't be judged game to game. If M had lost, it'd be because MSU is tougher than us and we need to have less pussies around. Whoever wins has the better philosophy until the next game.

Never takes over a game and controls the game. NBA loves his size and has the "NBA ready body." Dude is mediocre mid range and plays soft as shit. Again, when has he just taken over a game if he is so damn good? I think Jackson is the better player to draft right now and I hope he is a one and done.

He is really good with a well-rounded skillset -- and probably smart enough to know there is nothing to be gained playing in that abortion of an offense for a second year.

He'll be a great NBA player.
