Great to see Mike Hart out and about in the town I lived in as a small child
October 14th, 2022 at 10:42 PM ^
Dexter hasn’t beaten Chelsea since 1995.
October 14th, 2022 at 11:01 PM ^
I moved in 1996! I guess I cursed the Dreadnaughts on my departure. Sorry, didn't mean to
October 15th, 2022 at 5:37 AM ^
Chelsea is a girls' name.
Dread Tough!
October 15th, 2022 at 7:50 AM ^
How about the last time Dexter beat Saline? Cause that happened Friday night
October 14th, 2022 at 7:31 PM ^
He's back! Let's go!
I'll take Mike Hart over "Let's hope he's Mike Hart, but older."
October 14th, 2022 at 7:31 PM ^
Bodes well for the young man (Mike). Glad to see it.

Oriental Andrew - how does it feel to be my MGoHero? Your simple post the other day is an all-timer.

What did I miss?
October 14th, 2022 at 7:39 PM ^
Great to see!
October 14th, 2022 at 9:58 PM ^
Glad to see him out and about! Hopefully, there'll be no long-term affects....he's much too young to have something like that happen.
October 14th, 2022 at 10:08 PM ^
Too young for a seizure? I had my first seizure when I was 25 out of the blue then again once more a few years later. It’s scary and life changing. Age has little to do with it. Nice sentiment by you either way. I too am glad to see him out and about. It’s weird because you feel so normal, but everyone can’t unsee you the way you were for a few minutes without any control. I know what he’s going through. I hope he can find normal again soon.
October 15th, 2022 at 1:33 AM ^
Maybe he was thinking of a "stroke", especially as they cited "long-term damage", which strokes are notorious for.
October 14th, 2022 at 7:40 PM ^
Great to see

Great to see Mike Hart back and in good shape.

This isn’t over the top or anything but can we just not rip on CJ Carr here or any other high school kid. Not calling you out specifically. He’s a great kid and this board is loaded with friends and family. Thanks
October 14th, 2022 at 10:02 PM ^
Wah, wah.
October 14th, 2022 at 8:37 PM ^
Score is 14-14 in the 3rd. Cole Cabana has two TDs(rushing & receiving). CJ Carr has an INT and a two fumbles.
October 14th, 2022 at 8:52 PM ^
He's a competitor. He's probably embarrassed AF about what happened.
Love to see him back and doing well. But I'm not surprised.
October 14th, 2022 at 9:09 PM ^
Embarrassed about having a very serious medical episode during a game he’s dedicated himself to for probably most of his life?
Weird take but I don’t really think embarrassed is the word anyone should use for what happened last Saturday.
October 14th, 2022 at 9:54 PM ^
Mike Utley, when he was interviewed after being paralyzed during a football game, said he was embarrassed that he went out like that. That he had to be carried off the field was unthinkable to him.
It drove him to do things with his disability that many people won't do.
I wouldn't say he should be embarrassed. My point was he probably was because competitive people generally don't like to be vulnerable in situations like that. The net result? He's back at work watching recruits less than a week later.
October 15th, 2022 at 8:58 AM ^
Mike Utley is the first player I remember giving the thumbs up sign as he was being carted off the field. It has become a tradition and a sign of hope since then.
October 15th, 2022 at 7:46 AM ^
Whether they should be embarrassed or not is another question entirely. The answer is no, they should not. But that has nothing to do with whether an individual actually is or isn’t embarrassed.
The fact of the matter is, many people ARE embarrassed when they go through a medical episode. Especially one in public. Having it happen on national TV and the attention that comes along with that has the potential for the individual to feel some level of embarrassment.
October 14th, 2022 at 9:11 PM ^
I hope he's not the least bit embarrassed. As a society, we waste so much energy hiding illnesses of every kind.

And gets the Bob Ufer horn after. Priceless.
October 14th, 2022 at 9:19 PM ^
CJ Carr fumbled again and Dexter recovered. Dexter wins 21-14.
October 14th, 2022 at 9:20 PM ^
Trying to decide if awesome, good, or great to see.
October 14th, 2022 at 9:31 PM ^
Wonderful news!
October 14th, 2022 at 9:44 PM ^
Was at the game... Can confirm.
Wasn't Cole's best game but he had a few good runs. He was a bit frustrated (got flagged for a personal foul - kicked a Saline player in the pile after not converting a 3rd down) but a great team win for my Dreads.
October 14th, 2022 at 9:54 PM ^
Great! Thanks for the post.

Great to see coach Hart out and about. I hope to see him on the M sidelines tomorrow.

Great to see Hart out there.
Dexter hadn't won the SEC since LBJ defeated Goldwater. Congrats!
October 15th, 2022 at 9:01 AM ^
That makes two great things that happened in '64.
October 15th, 2022 at 3:39 AM ^
I remember thinking if Jim had gone to the Vikings, Mike might be a good choice for continuity and tradition.
October 15th, 2022 at 5:49 AM ^
Good to see him up and about!
October 15th, 2022 at 7:48 AM ^
I was at the game, Cj Carr didn’t look great. Threw one pick and at least two others that were in the hands or off the face of Dexter Defenders. And Saline’s passing game is just WR screens.
October 15th, 2022 at 8:41 AM ^
That’s just kinda who Carr is. He turns the ball over a lot. I kinda ignored it last year because he was young but it’s a continued issue for him
October 15th, 2022 at 8:19 AM ^
Fandamntastic!!
