Took my Son and we had a blast. After the rain stopped it was a beautiful night. The face off man, the goalie and Tiernan all dominated. The Defense was smothering and really took their will. Awesome atmosphere and game.

Oh, Sal is definitely worse.  It's not even close.

Whenever I read a post…

Whenever I read a post without looking at who posted it, and then I remark on how bad that post is, it is almost invariably Sal that has written it.  Consistently one of the worst posters on MGOBLOG.  I keep trying to avoid what he writes, but that one time I forget to check the name of the poster, this always happens.  Argh.

You're using Sark as an example of falling up?  Interesting.

Well it sounds like…

Well it sounds like Minnesota was quite serious.  Was looking like he was gone until something happened at the last minute during the in-person interview.  Some think it was interference from Jim Stapleton, but almost everyone agrees it was pretty serious with them.

You think they interviewed…

You think they interviewed David Shaw to ask about Harbaugh?  That seems extremely unlikely to me.

Agreed.  Trente, JJ, and…

Agreed.  Trente, JJ, and McGregor are the surprises to me.  Mcgregor and Trente because it seemed to me that dominating for a full year would help their draft cases immensely.  JJ, moreso just because I thought he loved Michigan and the college life enough to run it back one more year.  The other ones have not been a surprise.  Very happy Moore stayed.  If Makari follows suit, I will be very, very excited about next year's defense.  Even if he doesn't, I will still be very excited. Will just need to figure out an offense that works for us and establishes an identity pretty quickly.

Looking for 2 tickets to hopefully see a national championship in person for first time ever with my Father.  '98 BBA.  Couldn't make it in '97 because of exams.  Hoping to rectify that this year.

That was ridiculously…

That was ridiculously entertaining.  Smiled the last 10 minutes straight.

Absolutely awesome job, Seth!

Absolutely awesome job, Seth!

An analrapist?

An analrapist?

It's actually surprisingly…

It's actually surprisingly refreshing for someone over there sounding like an actual human.  He is right.

Good.  Hopefully their…

Good.  Hopefully their players believe that too.

That entire career that has…

That entire career that has led him to a 23-1 record?

Johnson also waited a tad…

Johnson also waited a tad too long to look back.  If he looks back earlier, after he had already cleanly beaten his man, I think he has a much better opportunity to adjust to the ball.  But yeah, need to hit on that one when it comes so open.  Was a great play call.

I would tend to agree.  I…

I would tend to agree.  I think what some people are missing is that when they turn the McCarthy run option off, it heightens the degree of difficulty significantly.  JJ only tried to run once, and at the wrong time too.  When Maryland was able to completely stop accounting for this option, particularly in the second half, that's when the offense slowed to a slog.

Key for next week will be if JJ is completely healthy and if all run plays, including QB keeps are on.  If so, I still like our chances.  If not, it's going to be an absolute rock fight.

He will be second next year…

He will be second next year as well.  You think they paid all that money for Arch to sit the bench for 2 years?  Just because Murphy stayed this year, doesn't mean he will next year as well. But you may be right about the article.  Does just seem to mostly be most or all conjecture.

Guys, let's just welcome…

Guys, let's just welcome Carter and worry about the potential implications on Underwood later.  This is our first commit in a long time, and it comes at a difficult time to recruit, and I will remember that when Carter is on campus.  I will root for him a tad more, possibly, because he showed a commitment when we kind of needed one to maybe get the ball rolling again and pick up some momentum.

I always remembered J.J. and Dononvan, when things seemed to be crumbling around us a few year ago, both re-affirm their commitments with aplomb, and I made a note about it then. I will do the same for Carter.

Well, they are 0-1 so far. …

Well, they are 0-1 so far.  Maybe they are more prepared for the next round.

Trash.

Trash.

We will need somebody to…

We will need somebody to organize this on campus.  How amazing would it be to have nobody behind their dumb desk of idiots?

Would be nice to win one of…

Would be nice to win one of these at some point.

This is the type of action…

This is the type of action we need.  Time to start winning some battles off the field as well.

Is your worry based on legal…

Is your worry based on legal precedent or BPONE?

A Conference affiliation is…

A Conference affiliation is supposed to support and shield against injustice like this.  The fact that they are the ones leading the way is the most insane thing I've ever watched unfold in any sport.  Michigan absolutely has to look into every avenue to leave the Conference as soon as it possibly can.  It has just been proven to us that they are actually against us, and egregiously so.

Long-term, this may actually be a win for the University, as I have never seen us this unified and galvanized. Make no mistake, this is a gut punch for right now, but we still have a chance to respond and respond strongly (on and off the field).

But this is irrevocable damage.  There is no coming back from this in my view.

I like the way that you…

I like the way that you think.

Informative.  Thank you.

Informative.  Thank you.

Apologies if this has been…

Apologies if this has been asked and answered already, but are we afforded 2 cracks at injunctions (if we need them) since we have 2 avenues we are pushing back from (the University's attorneys and Harbaugh's attorneys)?

If Harbaugh is suspended…

If Harbaugh is suspended tomorrow, it will go down as one of the biggest scandals in NCAA History.  At this point, it is painfully obvious there is no objective and fair reason for it to happen. For the love of God, somebody please inject some reason into this BiG process by tomorrow.  If he tries to go through with this suspension, it would be the worst injustice I've seen carried out against a school or person in college athletics.  In my view, this will be irrevocable in assessing damage between the BiG/Michigan relationship.  Everything will be different after tomorrow if this happens.

Still hoping for reason to prevail.

I wish I was a media member,…

I wish I was a media member, just so I could continually keep asking him variations of this exact question.

I don't know why, but this…

I don't know why, but this made me literally laugh out loud.

Eleven Warriors?

Eleven Warriors?

I did the exact same thing,…

I did the exact same thing, sir.  I replaced it with The Score app, and I'm just going to NHL.com, NFL.com, etc as supplements.

Slow clap.

Slow clap.

Here is the part that makes…

Here is the part that makes my brain hurt the most and what a lot people (outside of Michigan) still aren't grasping:

1) The BiG is holding the Sportsmanship clause against Harbaugh.  Not the agency clause of the NCAA rule holding the head coach responsible for the actions of others in the school.  Everybody seems to conflate these 2 rules.  As far as the BiG is concerned, all they have is the Sportsmanship clause.

2) If it's Sportsmanship, then there is no way it's worse for a low level staffer to obtain information from barely paid 3rd parties recording sidelines with an iPhone, than it is for Coaches to share the signs they have stolen/decoded in-game on the sidelines themselves by highly paid/expert coaches and staffers.

This is it.  This should be the end of it. If we are talking about Sportsmanship, then Rutgers/OSU coaches sharing these signs with Purdue before the BiG Championship games smokes what Michigan did out of the water.

Please somebody in the BiG infuse some reason into this process.  It is beyond ludicrous.  This is too stupid to even be fiction.

Interesting.  Forgive my…

Interesting.  Forgive my ignorance, but would you just search Michigan livestream before the game to find it?  I'm assuming other teams have been similarly livestreamed.  Hopefully the ones playing on ESPN.  If so, even less of a reason to ever watch ESPN.

Amazing, if true.  I am…

Amazing, if true.  I am looking forward to see what a unified and motivated Michigan administration looks like.  They have my full support in any way I can provide it.

Done.  For Hockey, I will…

Done.  For Hockey, I will access NHL.com and local fan sites.  For football, NFL.com and local fan sites.  Etc. etc.  Finished with ESPN and never began with the Athletic.

Just removed the ESPN app from my phone, and added The Score app, as recommended by someone above.

Fuck ESPN, fuck all biased and agenda driven entities (regardless of the Agenda).

I hope your interpretation…

I hope your interpretation is correct.

Yes, but this is an NCAA…

Yes, but this is an NCAA rule, not a BiG rule.  That's what I don't understand.  I can understand the NCAA holding Harbaugh responsible after an investigation is completed.  Because they have that rule.  Even so, it should be treated as a Level II violation and have a relatively small punishment (in my opinion).  But the BiG doesn't have that rule.  Currently, there is zero evidence pointing to Harbaugh knowing about this that we've heard about.  What leg does the BiG have to stand on?

Here is the part where my naivety may come in.  Since I do believe Harbaugh when he says he had no knowledge, we have to understand that 99+% of our rivals think he is lying and was involved.  I have to say, Harbaugh may be one of only a handful of coaches in the country i would believe, and I may be biased.  However, if Harbaugh agreed to take a polygraph, would that not help immensely in the changing the narrative?  I understand this would never happen in real life, as we are not the Maury Povich show, but I wish there was some way we could prove he didn't know, because I firmly believe he did not.  If this could be proven, then all that would be left against Harbaugh was the brand new NCAA rule holding coaches responsible for the actions of others, but the narrative would swing strongly in our favor. For our MGoLawyers out there, is there a non-zero chance this would ever happen?  My head tells me no, but it seems like it could help if there was a way or precedent for it.

Keep banning things we don't…

Keep banning things we don't like or agree with?  How weak are you?  I think Barstool is trash but I wouldn't dream of banning them.  Outkick is similar in ways, but who cares. Grow up.  It's a stain on this site that publications like Barstool are banned already. Due to weak people like you, apparently.  You said "fuck Clay Travis and anyone that looks like Clay Travis".  Yeah, you're not part of the problem right?

Exactly, Monkey House. …

Exactly, Monkey House.  People don't seem to realize the standard they are applying to Tucker is completely different than the one being applied to Tracy.  They seem to ignore that it takes two people to be on a phone call for over 30 minutes, etc.  They jump to conclusions and project on one side, but believe the other side fully and completely.  It's the flaw in logic above anything else, that bothers me.  It's so strange for me to observe otherwise rational and intelligent people fall over themselves picking one side (always seems to be the same side) for reasons I can not fully understand. What is so hard to understand that there are 2 sides to this and that both sides need to be equally scrutinized?  Once we have full information, we can logically come to a comprehensive conclusion.  Until that point, the people jumping the gun on one side (either side) are 2 sides of the same coin.  Both likely biased and/or just ignorant of the salient factors.  It appears this reporter jumped the gun in Tucker's defense, and therefore, faced the consequences.  90+% of the reporters who have jumped the gun the other way have had full freedom to do so, with the lack of any consequences.  That is the issue at hand in this thread.

This is 100% true.  I don't…

This is 100% true.  I don't know how anyone can debate this.  You can say the reasons why you think it's the case (history of female victims being suppressed in the past, etc.), but you can't deny that it's true.

Awful post. You are not…

Awful post. You are not applying the same standards to both parties.  And why bring up Bauer? How is it not obvious that neither party is a saint in that case either, but the facts ended up being very different than originally depicted.  Why can't people just debate issues?  People seem obsessed with this on both sides.  You seem just as obsessed as him but in the opposite direction.  Just keep it to objective issues.

Fair points, and I agree…

Fair points, and I agree with you.  But isn't it strange that her irresponsible tweet ends in a termination.  Meanwhile everyone that has lambasted Mel based on similar statements from the Tracy side can do so with ultimate freedom.  Too many people allow this to happen and it is not right.  Too many people even on this site do the same thing.  For some reason, I would have expected more.  I can guarantee you that not many people disliked Tucker more than me before this situation was exposed.  However, even with that, he deserves due process.  How is that so hard for reasonable and intelligent people to understand.  Once he is found guilty, if he is found guilty (or in this case, when all of the facts come out), then throw every book at him.  Until then, objectivity and due process should mean something.  Regardless of gender or skin color.
