No boomers.  Boomers are for pansies that need to hide from everything.  You want the fast attack, those are the ones that sniff out something to do and go do it.  They're the ones that run towards the threat - and make the threat go away.  And have fun doing it.  You want to be the fast attack.

Rendezvous, I thought it was 42 inches of snow, with temperatures of 27 degrees Kelvin (surprised there wasn’t more frostbite).  As for the Bucks who were under the flu - that was the entire 85 player roster - everyone had the flu - even those who didn’t travel with the team.

Back to basics.  Continue S&C.  Learn the additions to the playbook. Get to know your brothers to your right, left, in front, and in back of you.

Enjoy.  Go Blue!

If I recall, last year was the first in a long time where there wasnt a significant injury.  I think Colson was banged up, but other than that, I dont recall much.  Maybe someone else does.  Anyway, I truly believe a healthy, productive camp will bode well for the coming season as it did last year. Go Blue!

Or an insider who knew things that was also monitoring the outside buzz ... and then at some point in the future have a story with a side-by-side comparison: "Here's what the buzz was, and here's what the reality was."  Some buzz is spot-on, some is way off-base, and some is in the ballpark of true.  Seeing how the buzz aligned with reality would be interesting, I think.

Would be nice but hard to quantify. "Look out for this guy this season" How much hype is that? I think general rules of thumb here work well. Praise for a guy who isn't at a position of need means good things. Praise for a guy who's been behind and the team desperately needs to step up should be taken with a heap of salt. Unfortunately that's Jeter for me. I remember him getting hyped before covid. A few years later and he was still just OK.

Hi XM.  If you get the time and the inspiration, I would love to hear in a diary how the college football experience is going.  I really enjoyed the recruiting diaries.  Has the actual experience met his (and you and Mrs. XM) expectations?

Hope your sons have a great season!

i would do that if there might be interest by others here, and time to do so ,and if he is seeing the field.  he is slated to be in the 2-deep and the head coach said to him at the end of the school year, 'we're counting on you big time next year (2022 season)'.  he did unfortunately sprain his ankle pretty significantly saturday while training.  if that doesn't heal up, or if he limps through the season, that could have a big impact on whether he's going to play this year.

regardless, thank you for the well-wishes.
