Michigan currently a 2 point favorite over Alabama

Michigan currently is a 2 point favorite over Alabama over on Bovada.  It was 2.5 about 5 minutes ago so unsurprisingly Bama money has come in.  Over/under 46.

If 〽️ beats Bama, we will win it all.

I think 〽️ will beat Bama, toss up between Texas and Wash but I’m going with Wash.

Win the game!!!

We can slow down their offense but I don't see us having success against their defense. Our oline is terrible, so we can't run on them and you need a prolific passing attack to beat Bama, dink and dunk won't work. Fuck taking a week off we need four weeks of implementing an air raid game plan

I hope Bama is the favorite and the media slobbers all over them. All this UM team needs is a fire lit under them. Being a heavy favorite, like TCU last year, just doesn't give you the same laser focus. Fucking bring it on

This is it exactly. I'm not saying we can't win or won't win. But, to win, Harbaugh and staff will have to prove they can self-scout themselves as well as gameplan for the weaknesses of Bama. The plan has to be solid, right from the get-go.

In other words, Jim has to learn the lessons from the TCU game.

A little disappointing because Milroe has looked so good. But they struggled with Auburn and USF. They lost to Texas. The mighty SECs best non con win is either Miss St over Arizona or Kentucky over Louisville. They are beatable

I see the last few days as an unequivocal win for our championship probability versus what could have been. All the models still show Georgia as the main team that could have knocked us out. Alabama knocked them out for us. We have to beat two very good teams to close this out. We can absolutely do it.

Absolute BS that FSU was left out

I do worry about Milroes legs. Dude is an elite athlete but we’ll see how he does vs Minters zones when trying to throw it

Compared to S&P (which usually tracks Vegas pretty well, except it can't account for injuries) and tells me Zinter is worth ...a lot in Vegas' mind.  Think S&P would make it 8.5.

I fully suspect Saban will have his team ready. That's what worries me the most. Yes, they looked suspect against a couple teams this year, but not one ounce of me thinks Saban won't have them playing at the highest caliber at the time needed the most. If we were playing them in the season that's different than playing them in the playoffs.

That said, so will Harbaugh. Let's get this win. One at a time.

Alabama's line play for much of this year has been very subpar, not just by Bama standards but by any standard.  Their QB is also bound to throw up one interceptable ball per half, at least.  He can be good, but he's frequently inaccurate.

Michigan's online looks like a mess since Zinter went down and the suspension chaos.  M will need to get that more or less right by Jan 1, but they don't need perfection to go  physically toe to toe with Alabama this year.

Harbaugh vs Saban is an epic clash, and we can win it this year.  Dragging Bama out west is nice too, since they never seem to leave the south.

They have 2 WRs - one is a Georgia transfer (Burton) ironically who is their big play man very explosive on the big throws - Will J will be with him.  Their other WR is really good too but more of a shifty guy but he is quick (Bond).  Maybe Mikey lives with him. It drops off after that.  Their TE is not used a ton, he has 19 catches.  Backup has 9.

RB room is good not great, nothing special like peak years.  Their 3rd most yards are from Milrose and that's with sacks included so technically I'd put him as their 2nd most utilized running back.  He is a moose sort of a NFL strong safety in build.  He does at times hold the ball too long but really in a year if it all comes together could be a Lamar Jackson type but he is not there yet.  But he is going to frustrate us to hell as he is not easy to take down and he will make something from nothing on various plays.  Also has a bomb for an arm but sometimes not great in intermediate areas.

They have a phenom safety in Caleb Downs - top 10 player in the 22 class and he is their leading tackler by like 30. He could go to the NFL next year if they allowed it.  Really good LBs but Bama always does.

We will see if we can get through their OL with our DL and then our OL is going to be challenged.  JJ has to be special these are his hopefully 2 games to show what he is all about.   Lines and JJ.

I’m glad Michigan is playing. This an important measurement for National prestige. A win outs Michigan tops in college football, a lot at stake. Michigan is determined.
